The course curriculum at IIIT Lucknow is designed by keeping in mind the current requirements of the industry. You don’t need to study subjects like Physics or Chemistry here.

• It is undoubtedly one of the best among the new 20 IIITs. It also gives tough competition to NITs and IITs. 
• In ACM ICPC, the institute was ranked 9th. It also qualified for the Asia Finals. 
• The technical club Axios had 3 GSoC selections in their first session. In the 2nd year, it had 2 GSoCers and GSoC mentors. 
• The six technical clubs of IIIT Lucknow are also doing great work. This institute is among the few colleges in India to have a Github Campus Expert, Google DSC, and Microsoft Student Partner.

Cultural Life:

• In terms of student life at the institute, IIIT Lucknow has 7 cultural clubs in the fields of Drama, Dance, Music, Literature, Photography, Fine Arts, and NGO.

The only problem IIIT Lucknow had till now was its lack of a permanent campus which has been sorted now as well. So in terms of infrastructure too, it is at par with IIIT Vadodara now. NIET and GEU are one of the top universities in India to pursue Engineering and other fields like management and law. NIET is located in Noida whereas GEU is located in Dehradun. • NIET has been ranked at the first position in Greater Noida and 6th best in North India for its engineering faculty by the Times of India.

According to popular reviews, NIET is better in terms of education standards and ranking. The job offers here are mainly offered in Delhi NCR area. GEU has better campus facilities and better placement rates. It entirely depends on the student what kind of college and life ahead are they looking for. Their financial status, JEE ranking, and comfortable area of residence are important while considering the appropriate college to choose.

Both institutes are reputed in Bhopal. The main difference between the two institutes is that LNCT is a private institute while UIT Bhopal is a Govt. Institute. 

One of my friends studied in LNCT and it turns out that they have very good placement. If you are willing to get into the private sector or MNCs, then surely go for it. Delhi Technological University (DTU) and MNNIT Allahabad have numerous opportunities for the students opting to do civil engineering. DTU has an upstanding ranking record as it was ranked at #2 in Best Technological Universities in India by Times Engineering Survey and #34 by NIRF. MNNIT on the other hand was ranked at #14 in the Top Public colleges in India 2020 by India today and #19 for B.Tech in India 2019 by The Week.

Manipal University is ranked 1st among the research publications of private universities in India by SCLmago. Admission to various courses at the institute is based on the entrance test of the university.

The HRD ministry approved the VIT university with grade ‘A’. Admissions are based on the merit and entrance test followed by counseling. Almost 100% of placements offered to students.

Given below are the differences between VIT and Manipal university.

Admission:

VIT University:

• The whole application process is online and the application fee is 1200 INR.

• Admissions are based on merit or entrance test known as VITEEE and NATA followed by counseling and interview.

• With this, students are also required to have at least 70% in 10+2 in their required subjects according to the programs. There is a relaxation of 5% in 10+2 for SC and ST students.

Manipal University:

• The admission process is online with an application fee of 1400 INR.

• The university conducts an admission test for most of the degree programs which is known as MET (Manipal Entrance Test).

• Students are also needed to complete their 12th with at least 55% in order to be eligible for admission. There is a 5% relaxation for SC and ST students.

VIT University:

Overall both the Institute are good and offer quality education. The placement rate of both universities is almost the same. The infrastructure of Manipal University is exceptionally great but VIT offers better faculty.
