My friend is currently pursuing her Master’s in English at Chandigarh University. It is better because it provides more choices and has an education system that is well-equipped for students who want to do major in English.
Considering all the above, MA in English is best offered by Chandigarh University.
Every educational institute takes a good time to make its mark in the industry. No B School has been flourishing since day one. The old IIMs that are considered the topmost B Schools also have their own journey of growth and becoming what they are today. It is only through baby steps that they have improvised in various aspects like faculties
The older IIMs have evolved in these aspects gradually over the years and not right off the bat. The same is expected from the new IIMs. They are slowly making their mark and climbing the ladder but they have a long way to go. It might take them years to give an edge to any of the older IIMs. So I don’t think it’s justifiable to compare them to old IIMs.
BITS Goa is anytime better than all the NITs in India. The following are the reasons.
Package | VNIT | BITS Goa |
Average Package | INR 3.3 LPA | INR 5 LPA |
Highest Package | INR 22 LPA | INR 1.4 Crores PA |
Overall, the fee of BITS Goa is on the higher side. But it is worth paying for its brand name. BITS Goa offers a lot of scope to the students and encourages the holistic development of the individuals. Even the faculty is experienced and helpful.
It is recommended to consider other colleges in Hyderabad for your post-graduation in management. Woxsen has the best infrastructure among the three colleges you mentioned, IPE Hyderabad, IBS Hyderabad, and Woxsen but it also comes with a high cost. IPE is prestigious but might not provide the best return on investment.
Colleges such as IMT, Ashoka School of Business (ASB), NMIMS, SIBM, and others offer a better return on investment with lower course fees of around INR 8–8.5 Lacs. The industry connect at Ashoka is excellent, and they have a number of industry professionals in the academic council to ensure the courses are aligned with industry needs and students receive proper grooming. This leads to lucrative placement opportunities.

B.A Hons. in Journalism from Lady Shri Ram College is definitely a better option than DCAC. It is way better in terms of campus, ranking, reputation, student crowd, etc. The cutoff required for the institute is also higher. So, you will be among competitive peers. If you don’t get LSR, try to get into other south-campus colleges. DCAC is not included in any of the DU campuses, which is a huge disadvantage.
Well, the answer to this question depends on your choice of discipline and score in the entrance exam. If you secured a good rank in the JCECE exam and a bit low rank in JEE Mains then it is recommended to opt for your favorite branch in BIT Sindri. If you are getting the same branch in NIT Raipur then placement figures will definitely fluctuate.
Infrastructure:
Talking about infrastructure, NIT Raipur is way better than BIT Sindri. Though the campus is BIT Sindri is large but the buildings, as well as the hostels, require a lot of renovation.
Type of Institute:
Apart from that, NIT is a national level institute while BIT Sindri is regional due to which NIT provides you better exposure.
Faculties:
The faculties at NIT colleges are well educated as well as experienced. At BIT Sindri, there is a lack of guidance due to the inefficiency of faculties in many subjects.
So, if you decide to choose among both of these colleges, it is recommended to go through the placement records of the past few years as well as the type of companies visiting the campus. Ultimately, it's your decision so choose wisely.
