Choosing PGDBA over a regular MBA program is definitely worth it. With technology becoming the foundation of every company today a regular MBA program is not sufficient. You need to be well versed in data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. This is when PGDBA comes into picture. This course offers a perfect knowledge of handling data to meet the competitive edge. 

I have listed some major benefits of the PGDBA course that might assure you of its worth.

• The course helps to automate things and take a more technological approach to every business decision.

• This course will provide you with the brand name of 3 best institutes all together. This makes it better than the regular MBA program.

• Interacting with faculties of 3 different institutes does not stagnate your thought process. The diverse opinions help you add to your ideas.

• This course will enable you to open your own technology based start-up.

The only major disadvantage of this course is the lack of management skills you will develop. Although you will study management, not as much as you could have studied in a regular course. But this in itself is not a factor big enough to hinder your success.

When it comes to the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), many students have a tough decision to make when choosing which one to attend. Based on feedback from students, it is suggested that the following order of preference is considered:

• IIM Shillong - This institute is known for its beautiful campus and top-notch facilities. It offers a great learning environment that provides students with a sense of community and belonging. Additionally, the institute has a strong reputation for its placements, making it a popular choice among students.
• IIM Ranchi - This institute is comparable to IIM Shillong in terms of placements, but has its own set of constraints. Currently, the institute is operating from a temporary campus, which can be a limiting factor for students. Commuting to classes can take up a significant portion of the student's day, and the lack of a permanent campus can also affect the nightlife and freedom of the students.
• IIM Raipur - This institute is considered the slowest to build its own campus. This can be a significant drawback for students as it limits the overall campus experience.

Overall, when considering campus learning and experience, IIM Shillong would be the top choice. It is important to note that the choice ultimately depends on the individual student's priorities and preferences.

Many of my students attend IIM programs in Shillong, Ranchi, and Raipur each year. While the placement outcomes at IIM Shillong and Ranchi are similar, the campus at IIM Shillong is more attractive and students at IIM Ranchi must spend an hour commuting to classes every day. 

Additionally, the lack of a campus at IIM Ranchi may limit the ability to participate in a vibrant social scene. Therefore, IIM Shillong may be a better choice for those who value the campus learning experience.

Graphic Era University is one of the best universities in Northern India, placed in the top 150 All India Rank Band of NIRF and accredited with “Grade A” by NAAC. If you are looking for an excellent international immersion program for MBA students, Graphic Era University offers that, where you get to visit a foreign university for educational purposes. In addition, it has tie-ups with many international universities that offer undergraduate/graduate courses, which means it offers a study abroad program.

The faculty at Graphic Era University comes from diverse backgrounds such as Academics, Industry, and the Armed Forces with a vast knowledge base and skills. Not just that, but the university also has renowned foreign faculties who come to teach students as a part of the Faculty Exchange Program.

When it comes to placements, Graphic Era University is excellent as well. The university invites top companies for campus placements to assist the students. Also, it conducts PDP sessions that train and prepare students for interviews by enhancing their verbal skills and instilling confidence in them.

In conclusion, Graphic Era University undoubtedly has an upper hand over other universities regarding education, placements, faculty, and other facilities.

NIT Patna is a very old and well-established college. On the other hand, NIT Uttarakhand is very new (est. 2010). As a former ECE student at NIT Uttarakhand, here are my observations on my college-

1. Though in a much better condition now, NIT Uttarakhand is operating from a temporary campus.
2. Sports and cultural activities have increased from before.
3. The number of teachers in various departments has increased and the administration has become more flexible.
4. The placement scenario has improved and is getting better with time.
5. Elections are held for different positions in the institution. Thus, students are ultimately in charge.
6. The ECE faculty is very supportive and learned, especially the HOD.
7. Lab facilities have improved with more equipment and research facilities. However, the labs have no ACs.
8. Classes are conducted from 8 to 6. This will allow you to become more disciplined with time management because you’ll have assignments to complete, errands to run, and so on.

NIT Uttarakhand isn’t a bad choice as it will give you great learning opportunities. But NIT Patna is way older and will provide you with better placements and facilities. Thus, I recommend you choose NIT Patna for your ECE.

 NIRF has chosen the top engineering colleges category for the 2022 NIT rankings. 

NIT Calicut has a 31 NIRF Ranking in 2022 and a 56.66 NIRF Score, while NIT Kurukshetra has a 50 NIRF 2022 Ranking and a 50.11 NIRF Score.

The highest CTC at NIT Calicut was INR 67.6 LPA, while the average CTC was INR 12.1 LPA. So far, 1138 students have been placed. The placement drive attracted over 200 recruiters. During the placement drive, top recruiters such as Accenture, Amazon, Bajaj Auto, CGI India, Capgemini, Big Basket, DE Shaw, and others visited the campus.

The highest package offered during NIT Kurukshetra placements 2022, according to media reports, was INR 51 LPA. Every year, the institution strives to achieve a higher percentage of placements, providing all necessary facilities and internships to students for a better future and career selection.

Thus, NIT Kurukshetra CSE is better than NIT Calicut CSE.

It's tough to choose between MNIT Jaipur Civil, NIT Hammirpur ECE, EE, or NIT Kurukshetra EE. The answer depends on your interests alone. However here are a few things you would like to consider

• Interest : This may not be the best criteria to determine the right branch because engineering students are mere class 12 pass-outs having no knowledge outside their PCM syllabus.
• Placements : If you are after hefty packages, then you will have to prioritize branch over college. Here is the preference order you can follow CSE>IT>Mech=ECE>EE>Civil
• Government jobs : If you are willing to work in the government sector or PSU, then NIT Kurukshetra is the right place for you. A lot of PSUs visit the institute every year. But here choice of branch and college both matters. The choice of the branch for this should be Mech>Civil>EE>ECE.
• Civil Services Preparation: If you are planning to prepare for Civil services, then choose NIT Kurukshetra over NIT Hamirpur because the workload is less and you will get a lot of free time to study. You can go for branches like civil, electrical, and mechanical.
• MBA : If you are planning to pursue an MBA then your branch doesn't matter. What matters is the brand of the college you hail from. NIT not only provides the NIT tag but also gives you enough time to prepare for the CAT.
• MS/Mtech/Research : If you want to pursue a career in research, or pursue an MS from a foreign university, then choose ECE. This field has a lot of scope in terms of research. 

Ultimately, the final decision depends on your inclinations and future prospects so choose wisely. 

You should prefer COEP IT. It is among the top engineering colleges in Pune. The institute offers better academics, faculties, and placements. Each year around 95% of students get placed in the IT branch. The recent highlights of COEP Pune placements show the average CTC for IT to be around INR 10-11 LPA. Barclays, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, etc. are some of the major recruiters for the IT branch.
