Which one should I prefer: COEP IT or IIIT Pune CSE?
You should prefer COEP IT. It is among the top engineering colleges in Pune. The institute offers better academics, faculties, and placements. Each year around 95% of students get placed in the IT branch. The recent highlights of COEP Pune placements show the average CTC for IT to be around INR 10-11 LPA. Barclays, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, etc. are some of the major recruiters for the IT branch.

Between the choices given, COEP IT is definitely better. One of my seniors from schools attends the institute. Here are some reasons why you should choose COEP IT.
COEP IT:
- It is pretty similar to COEP CSE. Just some subjects change as the students approach the final year.
- Both IT and CSE branches are the same as far as teachers and placements are concerned.
- There is one department for both CSE and IT, not two separate ones.
