When considering MBA programs, XLRI is a top choice and better than both SP Jain and IIM Lucknow due to its strong academic curriculum and excellent facilities. It is not only known for its Human Resources (HR) program, which is considered to be the best in India, but also for its Business Management (BM) program, which has a strong track record of 100% placement year after year. Additionally, XLRI has a wide range of placement opportunities for its students. Overall, XLRI is a well-rounded choice for an MBA program.
The median salary offered to students in the batch of XLRI was INR 30 lakhs per annum, with the top 10th percentile averaging INR 48 lakhs per annum and the top 25th percentile averaging INR 43 lakhs per annum. Both Bhawanipur Education Society and Shri Shikshayatan are reputed colleges in Kolkata. They admit their students on a merit basis. Their cut off is usually high but if you have average scores you will get a chance in their 2nd or 3rd lists.
Shri Shikshayatan is an all girls college and requires a better academic record. Both colleges are more or less the same. They differ in infrastructure, faculty and overall fees. Shri Shikshayatan has better infrastructure than Bhawanipur with better well maintained buildings, auditorium, gym and swimming pool.
Bhawanipur encourages students to join their college clubs and committees, they believe in the holistic development of the students along with academics. The college hosts, organizes and takes part in several inter-college festivals, cultural activities, competitions, etc. which take place all year long. If you prefer being around such activities then Bhawanipur is the right place for you.
The choice entirely depends on the individual and where his or her interests lie. Both are reputed institutions, so you will enjoy the perks these brands offer, you just have to choose what interests you more. A culturally active college or a college mostly inclined towards academics.
I couldn’t get admission at NIT Calicut and ended up pursuing my B.Tech from SOE, CUSAT. I have many friends who are studying at NIT Calicut currently and on the basis of the gathered information, here is a comparison of life at SOE, CUSAT and NIT Calicut-
Thus, without a doubt, I would say that NIT Calicut should be your first preference for a B.Tech as it is better than SOE, CUSAT on different parameters.
It depends on your business school needs. You listed three prestigious schools. This may help you choose:
Academically, with facilities, and placement, XLRI is better. It is the best in India for HR and BM, with 100% placement every year.
I think Great Lakes is a better option than IIM Amritsar. The following points support my opinion
Although my opinion is strongly against IIM Amritsar, it’s only because it’s a new IIM. Any older IIM is a better choice than IIT. MBA is all about investment and ROI which is great in the case of older IIMs. I have still seen many people choose Amritsar over IIT just because of the IIM tag. So do what your heart says.
Every individual has specific preferences such as field of interest, location, faculty, placements, and campus that help him or her choose which IIM to attend. So, go to each new IIM's website and look at their placement statistics, available roles, faculties, programs (Student Exchange, International Business Exposure), and other information that will help you decide which IIM to attend. To be honest, all of the new IIMs are quite similar, so conduct your own research and make your own decision.
IIM Kashipur is a relatively newer IIM, having opened in 2011. It has seen significant growth in terms of placements and candidates interested over the last few years. When evaluating the Institute, consider the following factors:
MBA and MBA Analytics programs are available. And, as all companies focus on data in the coming years, the course will be very relevant in the future. In terms of future prospects.
If you do well, you will have a bright future regardless of whether you specialize in finance, marketing, or analytics. So, if you perform well and gain the necessary knowledge, it will not be difficult to find good jobs.
Both the NITs Jalandhar and Jamshedpur are equally good in all aspects. Be it faculty, placements, rankings, curriculum or facilities, both the NITs give each other tough competition, NIT Jamshedpur will give some extra benefits because it’s like:
Strong alumni base as it is older
Better location as it is managed by TATAs
Covers major industrial areas of our country so better opportunities.
The ultimate factor to decide should be your proximity and regional parameters.
NIT Trichy is the better option. It is better than SSN Chennai in terms of academics, infrastructure, peer group, and campus life. The student crowd of NITT is amazing. You will share your lectures with talented students and get to learn from them. It has a good placement record as well. According to NIT Trichy placements 2022, the average CTC received by the students was INR 6.5 LPA.
Although as a branch ECE is more preferred by students, given a chance you should choose NIT Trichy.
Ramjas is one of the best Science colleges in the country. Being a North campus it has its own benefits. A lot of events take place within the north campus which you will be aware of or be a part of if you take admission in any north campus college.
Ramjas in terms of reputation, crowd quality, and exposure is much better than ARSD. It has got an incredible faculty and equally great infrastructure. It is one of the oldest colleges under DU hence has a lot of academic experience. If you seek a fulfilling college life, giving attention to both academics and extracurricular activities, Ramjas is the place for you.
There are a lot of societies and clubs in Ramjas, students get enough exposure to explore their skills and talents and enhance them. They are lenient with attendance and also lets students submit an ECA for serious reasons. It will give a proper balance between academics and extracurriculars, here you get to focus on both of them equally. For Physics Honours Ramjas will be the perfect choice.
