Somewhere you might find one thing and another might be equipped with another better thing. IIIT Dharwad also has some pros and cons.

- Don't have their permanent campus as of now and the temporary campus is also not that good.

What will I miss if I join KPC instead of malda medical college What are the merits and demerits of both the colleges?
There is no specific winner. Both Malda Medical College (MMC) and KPC Medical College have their advantages and disadvantages, and both fall under the same bracket. The better choice will be to compare them based on the location that is near to your home.
The following are some of the comparison points.
- MMC is a government institute, and KPC is a private medical college.
- The course fee for Malda Medical College is less as compared to KPC Medical College. KPC charges around 8.92 lakhs.
- Malda patients are usually happy with the hospital staff. There are twenty students to examine a single patient frequently.
- Three out of ten patients in KPC fail to cooperate with interns in absence of a doctor. Student interns do not have much authority while examining the patients. It does not happen in government institutes like Malda.
- The main disadvantage of KPC is the tag of private institutes even after getting admission through the NEET UG exam like Malda.
- The crowd at KPC is less, and the campus is clean. The faculties are more understanding as compared to Malda.

How is IT at NIT Surathkal compared to the CSE department?
Information Technology is the newest department of NITK Surathkal so its cutoff is much lower than CSE. However, there aren’t any major differences in the course structure of these two departments.
The CS department courses focus mainly on programming computers using mathematical algorithms while the IT department courses focus on installing internal networks and computer systems and perhaps programming.
In the IT department, you will have to deal with both practical and theoretical problems. Several mini-projects and labs take place every semester and this helps in importing a hands-on experience. CS students too are required to complete many practical projects during their course and are also taught theoretical aspects.
The IT department has newer and less experienced faculties as a result of which students are often clueless about academics. However, the faculties are easily available. CS department faculties on the other hand are highly experienced and offer excellent guidance to their students.

Which college to prefer IIIT Vadodara or SGSITS Indore for CSE?
Some of my friends studied CSE from SGSITS, so I might be able to share some details about SGSITS. But I can provide the basic information of IIIT Vadodara, as I am not very familiar with the college.
- The CSE department at SGSITS is about 30 years old.
- The student intake of the CSE department is 90. Most of the students of the general category are MPPET toppers.
- The HOD, Professor Mehta is considered to be the best Operating Systems teacher in India.
- At IIIT Vadodara, you will get to learn coding from scratch. It will be helpful for those who do not come from a CSE background.
- At IIIT Vadodara you will get the IIIT tag, which could prove to be valuable during interviews, but not always.

How is ECE at PES University? Does it have a good faculty?
PES is a private university ranked 93rd by the NIRF ranking, 2020. It offers 25+ courses in UG, PG, and doctoral programs. 11 students received their dream offers from Microsoft. The most popular undergraduate course in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Admission:
- It offers a 4-year course and the total course fee is INR 13.6 lakh.
- Eligibility criteria: 60% aggregate in 10+2 in the Science stream(Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics). A total of 360 seats are present for the ECE branch.
