If you are looking to pursue B.Tech in CSE, LPU is a better choice than GNDU. LPU has been offering professional education since 2001 and has a vision of providing education from local to global level and from classroom to web-based education.
Here are some reasons why LPU is a great option for B.Tech in CSE:
If you want to pursue B.Tech in CSE, based on the information shared by my friend, LPU is the best university for this course.
Yes, chemical engineering at JNTU is good. If you are interested in chemical engineering, then it's the best place to pursue it.
Infrastructure: The Chemical Engineering branch started at the institute only a few years ago. It does not even have a specific departmental block. It shares the block of the Metallurgical department. CE also doesn't have their own labs. Students go to other departments to do their lab work.
Placements: The first batch of Chemical Engineering graduated in 2018 and it had good core placements. Companies like Vedanta, ITC recruit Chemical Engineering students. In recent years the average CTC offered at the institute is 9 LPA.
I will advise you to only opt for Chemical Engineering if you are interested. If a student needs only the tag and brand of JNTU then choosing a chemical branch will not be a good idea.
IIT BHU, IIT Hyderabad, and IIT Gandhinagar are all premier institutes of India. There are three parameters on which we can differentiate these institutes for Chemical Engineering.
The first one is the academic curriculum. The academic curriculum of IIT Gandhinagar is relatively better than the other two institutes since its curriculum is new and according to the latest advancements in science. Also, a lot of research work is going on in IIT Gandhinagar in the field of chemical engineering.
The second factor is the infrastructure of the campus, in this IIT Hyderabad has an edge over the other two IITs. The infrastructure of IIT Hyderabad is the best amongst these three colleges and the chemical engineering department is also equipped with the latest instruments.
The third and the most important factor is placements in which IIT BHU is a little ahead than these two institutes. IIT BHU is ranked amongst the top 5 colleges in India in terms of placements. In 2019 placement drive a total of 104 students from Chemical Engineering got placed and the average salary ranged between 10 LPA to 58 LPA. Chemical engineering students at IIT BHU get placed in core companies like ONGC, IOCL, HUL, Reliance, etc, and several non - core companies like Microsoft, PhonePe, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, etc. IIT Gandhinagar is also good for placements in chemical engineering since many private chemical firms are situated in Gujarat but being a new IIT, its alumni strength is not so impressive. There was over 80% placement in IIT Gandhinagar last year with average CTC 8.96 LPA. In IIT Hyderabad, 26 students from Chemical Engineering got placed with an average CTC 15.5 LPA.
All three IITs have their pros and cons which makes it difficult to choose the best.
The average package of a CSE graduate from IIT Guwahati is INR 41 LPA.
The following table gives an insight into IIT Guwahati CSE Placements 2023

A few job roles offered to CSE students in IIT Guwahati are Data Science, Developers, Software Development Engineer, Member Technical Staff, etc.
An engineering aspirant has very limited knowledge of the branches because he/she is just a 12th pass out. So the best way is to
After this, you will not be certain but will have a vague idea of your inclination.
As far as Electrical at new IITs is concerned, you will never be disappointed as you will be getting it all at once, a good core branch, great exposure, top-notch infrastructure and facilities, and excellent opportunities. But if you are certain of your interest in programming, new IITs like IIT Hyderabad and IIT Indore are decent choices.
IIT Indore CSE seems a promising option for you especially because of its rapid growth in coding culture over the past few years. The institute has made its name on the global map and has given birth to many successful coders. The seniors here assist you with programming. The overall IIT Indore ambiance is conducive to a good programming experience and will help you develop skills faster.
Ultimately it’s best to consult your teachers and students who have completed the program recently and then make the final decision.

Well, I don't have much idea about the scope of a chemical engineering graduate from IIT Hyderabad but I can surely share some insights on IIT Gandhinagar.
One of my friends was a former student of this institute, and he was 2015 pass out batch. As per his advice, you would definitely face a difficult time getting success and fulfilling your dream if you opt for Production Engineering.
However, a small number of students get jobs in the core sector after studying this engineering stream. If you are satisfied with the jobs in IT companies, like Infosys, TCS and so on, you can go for this subject.
In the following, a brief overview has been given about the placement facts of this institute.

However, my friend has studied Metallurgical Engineering in this institute, but a maximum number of his friends was from Production Engineering Stream. Thereby, the student must act wisely.
I have a few friends at the Haldia Institute of Technology and based on what I heard from them, I will suggest you to look for other options. Having a college campus in Kolkata will be advantageous for you.
You can get IT in Techno India salt-lake main campus. If you don’t get Techno you can go for CSE in B.P. Poddar, RCC or St. Thomas, or any other college. Follow previous year trends of opening and closing ranks of the college and make a choice accordingly.
Choosing the University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Kolkata can be risky because it is newly established. Even though it is under the banner of IEM, you can’t be certain about placements. Going by the recent placement highlights the average CTC offered at the institute is 4 LPA.
Yes, you can easily make it to NIT Jamshedpur with 173 marks in the JEE Main under the Home State Quota. Your marks are quite good and will fetch you a rank around 6000-7000 which is even better than NIT Jamshedpur cutoffs.
