Prof. Dinesh Wadhwa is a Mechanical Engg. Graduate from BITS Pilani in 1983 & Post Graduate in Operations Management, MBA (operations Mgmt) & Chartered Engineer. He has over 26 years of Experience with the Industry and about 27 years in Academics, as a Visiting Faculty at reputed Private & AUTONOMOUS Management Colleges of DAVV Indore University. He worked overseas in Dublin, Ireland near the United Kingdom in 1988, with Asian Paints Ltd. Bombay (5 years) and with a PSU under Ministry of Defence M/s Mazagon dock Ltd. Bombay (3 years) before starting his own Enterprise in Indore in 1991. He is presently a group Project in Incharge of LBSGII, He is a corporate member of Various professional bodies viz. Life Member Institution of Engineers India Calcutta, C I I, ISLE Bombay, Indore Management Association, National Institute Industry Forum for Energy [NIFE] Indore, ISHRAE, BITSAA Indore and Life Member YHAI New Delhi. His other interests include Vocal Music, Reading, Swimming, Badminton, Table tennis & carrom.

What are the key factors that kept you in the best positions at educational institutes?

“The respect, nobility, and urge to educate students kept me glued to it”

Urge to educate/counsel the students about do's & don'ts in life that we learned and experienced the difficult way. As founder faculty & Project Incharge, the experience has been very good in terms of taking and completing new challenges and unseen /unknown tasks as they came.


What are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?

“Providing Students with skill enhancement courses and programs”

As Project Incharge & Chair Placements & Industry-Institute Interface of Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Technology & Management, (LBSGII) Indore Campus, worked as a team to provide HOLISTIC development to the student by encashing on their skill sets, by utilizing the resources available with team LBSGII and making them Industry-ready, responsible citizens. Live projects in Internships, Webinars on career counseling & SEBI/BSE, management games played by students on select festivals celebrated on campus 


How does the curriculum of college ensure that the students are being prepared for the future?

In the PGDM program, the syllabus has been enhanced by incorporating the latest trends in the specified subject. However, in MBA/BBA/B.Com,/B.Com(Hons) programs curriculum prescribed by State-Owned University DAVV, Indore are strictly adhered to.

What are the approaches you bring in apart from curriculum to teaching the students?

“Providing Students with Webinars, Guest Lectures, Industry experts and Internships”

Webinars, Guest Lectures by Industry experts, Allow students to take part in Inter-college events. We take internships and training as our specialty and provide a plethora of opportunities for students to undertake industrial training and internships with all the major industrial chains across the world. We firmly believe in the importance of an Internship as there is no substitute for experience and provide hands-on experience.

“Attendance of students and tuition fees recovery are the biggest challenges”

For Higher education in general: Attendance of the students in the class. Lack of Spoken English and presentation skills of Individual students with ref. to PI & printability for Internships & Pre-Placement offers. 

For Institute specifically: Recovery of tuition fees from students and maintaining Income vs expenditure balance.
