What is your philosophy of leadership?

“I believe in teamwork and providing equal opportunities to everyone”

As a leader, one should lead a team and when something good or bad happens, the leader should take responsibility for correcting it and not blaming the team. At the same time, when the team succeeds, he should be among the ones who enjoy it the most.

What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“Teaching students is my passion and also a source of happiness”

Basically, I have a passion for teaching, and that is the driving factor that keeps me attached to this education sector. When I teach or impart knowledge to students, I feel satisfied and it gives me a huge amount of happiness.

What are some of the plans that you are currently designing for students?

“To convey ethical values in them in the best possible way”

I believe that all technical skills or any other skills can be easily acquired by students in India. The main thing that we need to focus on in today’s world is on imparting ethical values to students and youths. Being a good human being is more important than being a techie. Hence I am working on how to create opportunities for them where they can learn these ethical values on their own.

What do you think should be the College’s top priority over the next 10 years?

“To prioritize programs for All-rounded growth of students”

It is now necessary for us to think in multi dimension. Considering all aspects of the students, we must focus on the holistic development of the students, who must be educated, have good values, and be in good health. We must also take care of the environment, and everything must go hand in hand for the next ten years in order to achieve a healthy society.

How do you bring in a practical and industry-oriented approach towards subjects?

“We keep our curriculum and syllabus updated via regular professional visits”

Our curriculum, which we design everything with is updated on a regular basis for every branch of engineering every other year. We keep our syllabus updated, which is the need of the hour. Our faculty members visit various industries to understand what skills students do require in the workplace, and this is then translated into a syllabus.

How does your college prepare students for placements?

“We have multiple training programs for them from the start of their course”

We have various kinds of placement-related training for our students from the very first year. In every period, the last 5 minutes is allotted for snap talks where students can come and present topics of their own interest and we record that call and play it back to the students so that they can check their corrections until results are satisfactory. We provide training to them through the EDC cell. We have a Gate Forum with everything for education and service companies. We have t1 and t2 training for the technical domain. We have boot camp depending on the student's priority and we conduct tests based on the marks.

What is the main challenge you are facing to uplift the quality of education of your college?

“To develop analytical thinking in students through the focused study”

As we all are aware that in today’s time students are very prone to social media and this is the only challenge that we need to tackle along with them. Because they are more dependent on social media and on gadgets only, basically what I feel is that students lack thinking capacity.

What was your vision when you joined this college and how are you trying to achieve that?

“To provide best learning opportunities to students”

Teaching has been my passion since a very young age, and my mother used to tell me that I used to imagine myself as a teacher while playing, serving in the teaching field. I get a lot of happiness when I go to a one-hour session and impart something fruitful to my students. If I talk about my vision so it is definitely to impart the best education and guidance to my students along with the growth of this institution, I am associated with.

Any valuable advice would you like to give the students to have a prosperous career ahead?

“Don’t focus only on technical skills, be a good human being too”

Being a techie is important, but being a human is even more important. Students must respect their parents and teachers because these two are the ladders for their entire lives who will not be jealous of their progress and achievement. You should not forget about these two people in your life and you will naturally prosper in your life.
