“The new program will provide an enhanced learning experience to the students”

We planned to initiate a course which will add value to the lives of our students. The IT Department has started four years B Tech (Computer Science and Engineering– Cybersecurity) in academic association Virginia Tech, USA, from this academic year. The course will enhance the learning experience and give global exposure to the students.

What steps does the IT department take to ensure students are at par with the latest industry trends?

“We ensure students are learning in alignment of the industry trends”

  • The IT Department has a Department Advisory Board (DAB) and a Board of Studies (BoS). DAB and BoS have experienced members from academia and industry. DAB also has alumni representation. They provide insights about industry trends and suggest changes in the curriculum. This process ensures that the curriculum is relevant and contemporary.
  • Department Alumni, who are well placed in different IT sectors, are often invited to share their experience on the projects/technologies they have been working on currently.
  • The department organizes regular workshops on the latest technological trends followed in the industry.
