Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum for all the courses in this college is up to date to match with the latest trends of technology going on in the technical as well as non-technical fields and is student-friendly. The tie-ups of this college are very great when it comes to courses like mechatronics, biotechnology, CSE, MBA, etc., this is the very reason for choosing this course from this college. The faculty: student ratio of this college is 1:10. This university has well-acclaimed, competent and well-qualified faculty members having 10+ years of teaching experience and are PHD holders from many nationally and internationally acclaimed institutions. The teaching method is great, modern and easy to understand, detailed notes on every topic are provided by the educators through the online methods. the mid-term sessionals are held after 2 months after the beginning of the semester and the difficulty level ranges from low to medium. The exams can be passed if topics are studied well and thoroughly.

Campus Life:

The campus life of the college is quite rich and very lively. There are various associations like IGNITE, IIC, AAGMAN, etc., for the arrangement of various social and cultural fests on the campus. There is a large area provided for various sports within the campus like a basketball court, tennis court, badminton court, volleyball arena, cricket ground, etc. The library has all the books that can be beneficial for the students from both technical as well as non-technical courses. Any book that is needed can be issued in the library by the students. There are journals, question banks of various examinations conducted in the country, newspapers, computers, etc., provided in the library

The annual fest is IGNITE and generally takes place in March or April and provides a great forum for students to show their talents in every field. You can find every book related to your course in the library. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned and soundproof. Sports and extra curriculum activities are taken every month to boost students' energy and motivation. A lot of social groups and clubs are there in which you can become a member and do extra activities to boost your confidence.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are available at the end of 2nd year itself if you have worked hard throughout from 1st semester. A lot of companies like Mankind, TCS, Hyundai, HDFC and whatnot have visited our campus and offered great jobs for the students. The highest pakage was 18 LPA and the average pakage is 6 LPA. More than 75% of students are placed every year I am looking to get a package of more than 15 LPA.

Campus Life:

My college(USAR) is actually on the east campus of GGSIPU but not the main campus. So the main events do not happen here. (Main/West campus is about 60 acres and the East campus is about 18.75 acres) My batch was the first batch here so only one fest (more accurately an event)happened here and that was the official freshers' party for the 2nd batch of the college. The annual cultural fest of GGSIPU happens on the main campus and it's called Anugoonj(February-March). The main technical fest is called Infoxpression(November-December). The availability of books and journals in the library is less than what it should be. Classrooms are well-built and lit. There is wifi for students and air conditioning in all the classrooms. Only badminton takes place on the campus in the name of sports. But there are plans and space and funding for open gym, football ground and table tennis, and more. We're allowed to join any society on the main campus but students mostly join technical societies there like SDC, ACM, and GDSC.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it provided me with an opportunity to go into AI and do something different than the crowd. The student-faculty ratio is good. There is a good balance between the two. A single teacher teaches a class of about 144 students at a time during theory. (Even though the seating capacity is capped at 96) Faculty are qualified and different facilities have different methods of teaching. Some are slow, some are fast, some are too rigid and some are free-flowing. Term exams were somewhat timely but very less time was given in between exams. The difficulty of passing was a little above moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because IILM has its name in the education world for business and the faculties of IILM are very knowledgeable, educated and interactive with the students. Every student is assigned a mentor and under 1 mentor 10 students are assigned. So the ratio is 1:10. In IILM University, they believe that students should get practical and industrial knowledge along with theory. So, workshops, industry events and college activities occur often here. Every faculty of IILM holds a Doctorate degree in their specialized subjects and they teach in the best way using the best technologies. IILM organize a mid-term exam every 3 months and a semester exam every 6 month

Placement Experience:

In my course, the students are eligible to get campus placement after the 4 semester and top companies visit our campus and offer a high package of 18 - 24 Lakh per annum. The students easily get places because our curriculum is industrial based and 90% of students are placed because our university is very supportive. I plan to continue my studies after graduating from IILM.

Ques. CSE (with AI & ML) in Manipal University Jaipur or Mechatronics / Mechanical in Thapar University? Which to choose?

● Top Answer By Aditi Banerjee on 22 Mar 23

Ans. Honestly speaking, both Thapar University and Manipal University are reputable institutions for a B.Tech in computer science. So the decision on which one is better for you ultimately depends on your personal preferences and priorities. is  Thapar University is a highly esteemed, private engineering and technology university located in Patiala, India. Known for its strong academic programs and rich research culture in computer science, this university has it all. Additionally, it offers a range of student services, including career counseling and internships. Manipal University, on the other hand, is a private university located in Manipal, India. It is one of the oldest and most established universities in the country and is known for its iRobot programs in CSE. The university has a number of student-driven bodies that promote extracurricular activities. Some factors to consider while choosing between the two include  Proximity to hometown campus life Fees and other expenses  CSE Program offered Both the colleges are almost similar in all aspects. So what actually matters is that if you live in the North, choose Thapar but if you are from the south choose Manipal. Both universities have the same fee and both are equally reputed private colleges after BITS. So I would suggest that whichever college is near your hometown go for it. Ultimately, both universities are highly esteemed institutions and either one would be a decent choice for a B.Tech in computer science.Read more
