Ques. What is IIT Bombay B.des life, study and job senario? [UCEED]

● Top Answer By Shivansh Jog on 18 Mar 23

Ans. If you are interested in design, IIT Bombay offers a four-year Bachelor of Design (BDes) program. Admission to this program is based on the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) score. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can fill out the online application form. One of the great things about the BDes program at IIT Bombay is that scholarships are available to students. This can help make the program more accessible and affordable. When it comes to placements, the BDes batch of IIT Bombay has an impressive track record. In the most recent placements, 85.75% of BDes students received job offers. The median salary offered was INR 35 LPA , while the average was INR 17.9 LPA . This shows that there are plenty of exciting opportunities available to BDes graduates from IIT Bombay. In addition to job placements, many BDes students at IIT Bombay also choose to do internships during their second year. This can provide valuable real-world experience and help students build their professional networks. It's also worth noting that IIT Bombay has a company that is open to all students, including BDes students. However, there is a minimum criteria that students must meet in order to attend interviews. This varies depending on the company, but many require students to have a minimum CPI (Cumulative Performance Index) of 8 CGPA. Overall, if you are interested in design and are looking for a top-tier program with great job opportunities, the BDes program at IIT Bombay is definitely worth considering.Read more
