We were asked to fill out a preference list where according to our choice we list different colleges at Delhi University. There in 60th place, SPMC was placed with b.com program. Like this, I got my college The faculty is amazing, they all are extremely helpful and supportive. The teaching faculty is well knowledgeable and understanding. Our campus is one of the most beautiful campuses, a major plus point 1 sem exam was conducted in February, where the difficulty level was moderate. I was able to write the exam after 1 week of preparation
The earlier registration process for Delhi University college starts from the 12th percentage but as of now, the 12th percentage is not required for applying to Delhi University. But a national exam name CUET is taken for admission to Delhi University. It is organised to centralise the examination process. The CUET examination fee was around 1300 rupees and I applied for the form from cuet.ug.in
The campus doesn't provide much of placements. The placement cell is very inactive in this. My plans after this degree are UPSC and Ph.D. Being a humanities student after a bachelor not many options are open for jobs.
The admission process was based on Cut off. Every information was there on the DU website so it was easy. There are no reservation benefits. Yes we saw improvement in the admission process as now entrance exams will take place.
The course curriculum is tough as in the earliest semester we have to complete our whole course in 3 months but in actuality, it should be there for three months. they have a vast syllabus and also do not cut a single chapter and faculty members are so good that they completed the given course in a given time.
There should be no reservation quota during the admission process. actually, our admission was based on the merit format we got admission on our 12 masks. but the admission process which took place this year was pathetic if a student is from a science background and wants to opt for a course from a BA program then he or she will have to give the exam with a science background to clear that but in actual it should not be there. the student should give the exam from the course they want to opt.
Economic Honour is a well-versed course that has a reputation in the market. The whole Economic Department is very nice. Well-qualified teachers and a simple and easy way of teaching. Exams are taken based on the semester wise.
Eligibility criteria were based on the score of CUCET. It included Mathematics, 3 subjects from the B2 list. The forms, fees, and dates all are available at the DU sites and the NTA sites. I haven't availed of any reservation benefits but yes they are available in all over University.
It is active but not that much since it's an off-campus college. But still, placements are provided by our college with good stipends and those companies also provide a lot of experience and knowledge for our future.
I got admission on d basis of the merit list. My percentage was 92.6 so I got admission to the 5th cutoff list at Delhi university college "Shyama Prasad Mukherjee College For Women " Punjabi Bagh west. I didn't avail of any benefits since I am from a general category.
I chose this course as I wanted to do economics honors which I, unfortunately, couldn't enroll in so as per my plans I went ahead and I decided to do a BA program in economics. As I got admission when we were in the middle of the lockdown our university received unusual no. Of applications which resulted in extremely high no. Of admissions because of which the most I've had was 114 students in a class. The Professor and assistant professor of my colleague hold a master's to a Ph.D. degree in their respective subjects .thee teaching method is pretty flexible. They won't mind repeating something if it's needed. Term exams are not that difficult, especially in my case whatever has been taught in the lectures it's just it we just have to attend our lectures and pay some attention.
It was pretty easy. The cut-offs were released at an interval of 1 week and accordingly, you can apply for admissions. I remember it gets a little overwhelming because we are new but then as we understand things a little bit it becomes a lot easier.

I took the entrance exam for Delhi University which is cuet. I got all the information through the official website of du through the internet. They give all the information correctly. For this course, the eligibility criteria is just to get good marks in the main exams which you have already studied in class 12. I availed the reservation benefits of obc for which I have to give the noncreamy certificate. I just want to say that the admission process takes too much time so they should over this process within in 2 months so that no one can miss their classes.
SBy - SonikaEligibility of the course was 12th passed. I gave cuet and then started registration for colleges. You can find everything about the application form, application fees, and application dates on du official website.
PGBy - Pooja GautamThe admission process for my college was quite smooth. Since I got admitted into the course during COVID-19, the admission was done online, the admin staff was (and still is) very accommodating. I had a million queries before the application, which were solved by the faculty via email swiftly and in detail. I liked how they were open to solving each one of our problems, no matter how petty in nature they were.
