Course Curriculum Overview:

The course was chosen because of t gives an idea of various fields one can go for and since students don't know which specific career path to choose once they are out of school, the course helps in providing knowledge in all the possible spheres of multimedia and Mass comm. The faculty is pretty qualified and have industry knowledge. The exams are fairly easy and comprise of class tests, practical projects and written examinations.

Remarks:

The course eligibility is for anyone who has passed the 12th board exam with a certain minimum percentage requirement. Exam details could be found on the IP college website or the Delhi University website. There is a quota for OBC st and sc. The University of Delhi portal is quite slow, so it would be better if it's more faster.

Placement Experience:

JEET is the placement cell of my college. It brings job opportunities from good companies like Infosys, Deloitte, etc. A student after the fourth semester is eligible for campus placements. Before that, they get a stipend in the internships which varies from 5k to 15k. The companies which come to my college offer 4 lakhs to 12 lakhs per annum. Sometimes, it can be 25 lakhs too. The procedures to get into the selection of companies are difficult. The college has its own brochure to make a CV and one should be an active member of the placement cell they should attend all the webinars and seminars to be eligible for the company selection. I'm planning to do a master's in economics from any of the colleges of Delhi University which is on the north campus. The target is Stephen's College. And for that, I have to give the entrance exam.

Remarks:

I got admission in the year 2020. At that time, there were two criteria to get admission to the colleges of Delhi University - merit-based and entrance based. They used to reserve seats accordingly. If someone doesn't score well in the 12th class, they can go for the entrance exam. I got into the college merit-based as I scored 94 but now there are no such criteria merit-based, everyone will get Delhi University colleges in entrance based, and the exam is CUET. The application forms come out in the month of February, the exam is conducted around May. The cost of the form is 550-650, various on the categories for SCs and STs, it is 550rs and for general, it is 650rs. The application form is available on the Cuet UG website. They release 6-7 cut-offs on the basis of the availability of seats. Some of the colleges take more time in verifying the documents during admission, so I think they should look into it most of the time, there are transaction issues. So, they should improve the server.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from 3rd year (5th semester). Around 30%-40% of students get placed in Bcom Hons. The highest CTC is 21.5 Lakhs and the average package is 5-6 Lakhs. Top Recruiting companies were Bain & Co., Accenture, DE Shaw & Co., Deloitte, and Willis Towers Watson. My plan after my degree is to pursue higher education.

Remarks:

Admission to Bcom Hons in Indraprastha college for women at my time (2020) was through 12th Merit. The application form was available online in Delhi University Portral, and remittance of application fees was also available on the website. For application dates and updates kindly go through the Delhi university website daily and you can also try to follow some official Instagram account that posts from time to time answering all the admission queries and important updates.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since I am interested in computers, I selected this course. The faculty is mostly good, they are pretty sincere and hardworking. Though it's a bit too strict than what is imagined when we think about college life. Our exams are being conducted in a hurry since our term started late.

Remarks:

Since last year, i.e 2022, you can get into IPCW, a college of the University of Delhi by giving CUET. You are eligible to give CUET after graduating from school, i.e. class 12. You will have to select your college priority on the DU site (by registering with the same CUET roll number).

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I have a keen interest in maths. Faculty: student is 1:35. All the faculty members are well qualified and their teaching method varies individually. Some are very good at teaching while there is some average also. Term exams are conducted in 4 months and are not so difficult to pass.

Remarks:

Eligibility- Graduation from any course with mathematics studied for at least 2 years. The application form is on the du official website. There is an entrance as well as a merit-based admission process. The merit process is only for mathematics Hons.

The students become eligible for campus placement from the 5th semester. Companies that visited for campus placements are Deloitte, De Shaw & Co., Yamaha, Tech Mahindra, DeltaX, Teach for India, EY, Godrej, PWC, Trav Clan, Willis Tower Watson, Planet Spark, Acies, Planify capital Ltd., Top hire, Alea consulting and many more. A number of offer letters received is 160+. The highest package is 21 LPA and the average package is 8 LPA. Profiles offered are Auditing assistant, Research associate, Graduate level position in actuarial services, Graduate trainee, sales executive, customer centricity executive, Management trainee, and many more. My plan after getting the degree is to work at Deloitte as an audit assistant.

Remarks:

Eligibility of the course -A pass in Class 12 with 45% aggregate. Also, students must have an aggregate of 45% or more in English/ Hindi and a combination of the best three from among the following subjects: Mathematics, Accountancy, Economics, and Business Studies/ Commerce. Mathematics in higher school is a compulsion. The application form was available on the official website of Delhi University with all the details. Any update regarding cutoffs and application forms was regularly communicated on the website. The application process was easier as everything was done online just by sitting in one place and was very convenient.
