What students say about Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology - [SNIST]

Likes

  • It was an excellent opportunity for me to get into this course. We will be having practicals as well as an internship program in the curriculum.
  • The college gives a good stipend in the internship, and the experience was awesome because I have applied all the theory in a practical way.
  • It was a very good experience for me. It helped me understand the practical problems.
  • The opportunity of a scholarship is very good, and the campus is very beautiful with a good environment and good friends.
  • The campus is very good and comfortable. There is no ragging at all. No one will discourage you; instead, you will be encouraged.
  • I am not a resident of the hostel, but I know about the hostel because I have visited our college hostel once. It has the best environment and infrastructure, and they provide good food and accommodation.
  • Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology is a very good college in terms of discipline and culture.

Dislike

  • The worst part is that everyone has to maintain an attendance percentage of 75%, and we even have marks for attendance.
  • Sometimes it gives chances to teach certain subjects to the students during the revision hours.
  • The placement facility of our college for the 2019-20 batch is very poor. Top MNCs did not participate in the placements, with the exception of Accenture.
  • The government provides scholarships to poor students, and colleges also provide loan facilities to students.
  • Labs are good. Sports are not encouraged in college. No time is given for sports. No proper ground is there. There are very few number of Table tennis boards. Extra-curricular activities are encouraged by the college.
  • The food is not good, and the hostel is too strict. They have the worst rules that no one has seen.
  • The college is not nice, and the faculty are not good. Students are facing some problems with the faculty. Academic is not good and unable to be understood by the students.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students are allowed to participate in the placements. Darwinbox, virtusa, at&t, DBS, Salesforce etc are list of companies offered in units. 90% of students will get placed. After completing my degree I want to do a job.

Remarks:

For getting into college students should appear for eamcet exam. The application form is available on the internet and easily accessible to everyone. Students who achieved a rank of less than 10,000 will get tuition fee reimbursement from the Telangana government.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty is good all are well-certified from reputed colleges in India, the student is to faculty ratio is 60:1, and the exams are average if we study well and we can get good marks easily I had chosen the CSE branch because most of the people suggested this to me.

Remarks:

No reservation open category. Admission is through the ts eamcet, you need to secure a below 8.5k rank in eamcet to get a seat in the CSE branch in Sreenidhi for open category students the college will be good my advice is to choose the CSE branch in any college for a better future.

Placement Experience:

SNIST provide a lot of placements to students from 3-2 semester onwards they start giving awareness about placements. The average package is about 4.5 to 5LPA and the highest package I don't know exactly but some of the students have placed in Microsoft, Amazon, and many top MNCs. About 75 to 85% of students get placements. And my plan after the degree I'm going through higher studies.

Remarks:

My admission process was quite good. Actually, I'm background of diploma student. After completing my diploma, we have the ECET exam and I secured a 187 rank in web counseling I choose SNIST as the top 3 priority and I got a seat in SNIST. And for lateral entry students those who secured below 1000 rank they will get reservation benefits so I too got that.

Placement Experience:

In our college, the placements will start in the 3rd year 2nd sem. So many companies will come to our college at the time of placement. Minimum package will be 400000rs . Many of our friends are placed through campus placements.

Remarks:

The required qualification to join the btech course is a 12th or diploma pass. And should qualify in EAMCET or ECET. After completion of enterance exams, we have to go for certificate verification and selection of colleges in the required portal.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is ece, I chose this course because I have interest in this domain and also we can either get into software sector or hardware sectors based on our interest at the end of the course. The faculty members are good and very supportive.

Remarks:

I am a lateral entry student, I got admission to this college through an entrance exam called ecet and to get admission into this college the cutoff marks are based on the cast it's better if we get below 1000 rank in ecet to get admission into this college.

Placement Experience:

Sreenidhi college is known for 100% placements. The average package is 3.5lakh and companies like TCS WIPRO ACCENTURE hire in mass numbers and Hyundai and other companies hire only intelligent candidates who are pros in coding.

Remarks:

I completed my 12th and wrote the EAMCET ENTRANCE EXAM and got a 12k rank and got admission to SNIST in 2016 under reservation. Completed my Btech in ECE in 2020. I got a scholarship from the government under the SC category. The campus was too fat and took 3 hours every day for traveling.

I want to be a Software engineer so I chose this course. The faculty will be nice and they will be friendly with the students. Teaching is ok. Some of the faculty have completed their PhD and most of them have completed their Mtech.

Remarks:

You need to qualify in TS EAMCET Exam(MPC) to be eligible for the course. The exam will be conducted yearly once. The admission process will be done by the ts eamcet team. Nothing improvement is to be done in the admission process.
