What students say about Acharya Narendra Dev College - [ANDC]

Likes

  • There faculty was very good nature they are behave as friend not teacher
  • Fests here are good and the students do work to their best of capability
  • My experience was great, met a lot of peoples Learned a lot about people's.
  • And i must say our lab assistant staff are also very nice.
  • I like the ground of this college and the crowd of this college is also good ...seniors are really good to us and helping in nature.
  • Things I like about my college - good education environment, sports event, fest , eco-friendly
  • There is indian flag in the centre of the college which feels extremely good to see.

Dislike

  • There are not many opportunities in jobs through this College. Only B.P.O.s visit there, so I think you do not need to depend on placements.
  • That is the main problem: the services provided by them, such as food and water, are so bad that a person who has started living alone, far away from their family, can easily become sick if not cared for.
  • Although it is said that a new building is being made in Rohini.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my class there are 43 students of which 3 professors, 2 associate professors, and 2 assistant professors are available, I choose this course because I am passionate about circuit tools but in this course, we have to do works on software rather than hardware.

Remarks:

Based on my percentage of higher secondary and I also applied through the entrance by mathematical invocation and information technology in which I got not many marks and I also applied from the category of extracurricular activities in which I had a certificate of NCC which I got earlier admission in ANDC college by cutoff marks of higher secondary school so I took admission in it college is quite good it is totally science college.

Placement Experience:

There are not many on-campus placements in college, however, there are some of them with decent packages offered, usually, students prefer to go for higher studies rather than opting for getting jobs or placements.

Remarks:

Admission was merit-based. It was based on the marks obtained in the +2 class. Now they have an entrance exam along with 12th marks for admission. Delhi University provides some relaxation to the reserved categories and some colleges also provide relaxation to girl candidates. The process of admission is quite confusing as calculating your percentage for cutoff is different from your actual percentage.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because of my interest in semiconductors and Electronics, I have applied for this course. The faculty: student ratio is good compared to other colleges but in the end, you have to work hard if you want to get good marks.

Remarks:

In 2022 To get admission to various colleges under DU you have to Clear the CUET Entrance exam. You guys can easily find everything about CUET on Delhi University's Website. The process was not as difficult but yes prepare well for CUET if you are a general score as much as you can.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I had an interest in it. The ratio is 1 faculty to 40 students. Most had done Ph.D. some are still pursuing but all had a great amount of knowledge.

Remarks:

Eligibility of course is you must have Physics, Chemistry, and maths and the average must cross the cutoff realized by University. But now, you have to go through CUET UG for admission to Undergraduate Course.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 the students are eligible for placements they can get placements out of campus also. The average package of our college is 2-3 lpa and the highest goes to 7 lpa for the cs branch. Since more students opt for higher studies only fewer students sit for placements. I am also planning to go to higher study after the degree

Remarks:

Eligibility is to score more than 85% in 12th with PCM in 12th. We can find application details, forms and dates on the official website of DU or ANDC. If anyone wants to avail of the reservation benefit he/ She should have proper documentation for it. No improvement is needed for the admission process.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th sem, the students are eligible for placements and some institutions like Wipro come for hire of electronics and computer science students. but only some students take part in placements due to the lower annual package and they opt for further studies. The average package is 2-3 LPA and higher is 5-6lpa for Computer science and electronics students but only a least percentage of students get placed. I have even planned for going for MSC electronics after my BSc.

Remarks:

At my time of admission, there was a merit-based type from which I got admission to the college according to my marks in the first cutoff. But now onwards admissions are done using the entrance test which you have to give. For admission, you have to give cuet in May or June to get admission. Reservation benefits give you some more chances of admission to this college. No, the admission procedure is quite well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, I already have decided to choose this course as this course provides vast future opportunities like in the field of maths, physics and computer science also. The faculty-student ratio is quite good there are a good number of faculty members who are quite experienced in their field. I dont know the exact ratio but I guess 1:50 may be the faculty-student ratio Every single faculty member is well educated but it depends upon you really whether you have to study in college or just come for attendance Semester exams are held every sem once in a period of 4-5 months and its not much hard to pass the exam 10 years are good enough to pass the exam

Remarks:

I didn't need to give any entrance so my admission process was quite easy and smooth everything was done in online mode faculty contacted us via our mail we just needed to submit a soft copy of the required documents and pay the fee amount Some of my friends have reservation quotas and if you have this quota too it will give you an advantage of 6-8 % in total marks as for any improvement in the admission process, it was easy for me so I don't think it needs any improvement]

Placement Experience:

the availability and success of campus placements can vary depending on the reputation and resources of the institution, as well as the demand for the types of degrees and skills that the students have. Students may become eligible for campus placements at different times depending on the policies of the institution and the requirements of the companies. Some colleges and universities may have a career services office that works with companies to arrange on-campus recruitment events and job fairs, while others may have more informal networks through which students can connect with potential employers. The companies that visit a campus for recruitment and the number of offers made can also vary widely. The highest and average package offered may depend on the profile and seniority of the positions being offered, as well as the market demand for the skills and experience of the candidates. The percentage of students getting placements may also vary depending on a number of factors.

Remarks:

The admission process for Delhi University (DU) varies depending on the course and program that you are interested in. Most undergraduate programs at DU are based on the marks obtained in the Class 12th board exams, and students can apply through the online Centralized Admission Process (CAP). And Enterence test. For certain programs, such as B.Tech, B.A. (Hons.) in Music, B.A. (Hons.) in Applied Psychology, and B.A. (Hons.) in Physical Education, students may have to take an entrance exam in addition to applying through the CAP. Cut-off lists are released by DU for each round of admissions, and these lists specify the minimum marks required for a student to be considered for admission to a particular program or course. The cut-off marks vary from year to year and are based on various factors, including the number of seats available, the number of applicants, and the difficulty of the Class 12th board exams.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, you become eligible for college placement but college placement is not good they are mostly tch based and the package's that they offer is also very less you can find campus placements instead. Companies that visit are mostly TCS, infosys etc. highest package is 120000 and the average is 400000 .percent of students that get placement is only 10 per cent. my plan after getting my degree is to do a master's un chemistry.

Remarks:

The eligibility fir this course was to opt for science in class 12 and you must score a max of 96 per cent to get into this course. You can find the application form on the Delhi university site and the application form costs 350 for the general caste. After applying a series of cutoffs are released from which if you qualify you can take admission. But now the selection process has changed you have to give CUET.
