From 7 semester onwards student becomes eglibile for placements. The highest package was 36 lpa whereas the average is 11lpa. here come big companies like amazon, google and other big MNCs. The percentage of students getting selected is 93 %.
For the eligibility of the course you should be 10 + 2 pass out and secure a decent percentile in jee mains. The application form is available on the college website and all details regarding fees and dates are there. According to me, they should reduce the time.
Most of the faculties are decent some are also good ..they are cooperative but some could be rigid regarding attendance and assignments. faculty: student ratio would be 1:20 for labs and 1:50 for classes. All are PhD-qualified teachers. Most teachers have an average pedagogy. You gotta learn on your own. If you pay attention you can pass easily
The college takes in admission via JEE MAINS, CET and SITEEE (of which details are available on their website) with a seat allocation ratio of 20:10:70 respectively. SITEEE is a relatively easy exam. It's also CBT based.
campus placements are eligible for 4th-year students. Many companies like HP, Bajaj, Microsoft, and Zomato, indeed visited the campus. The highest package offered was 46 lpa ctc and almost everyone get placed.
I gave SITEEE Exam, for the CS cutoff was 90 out of 120 and it was during COVID times. To be eligible you must score 75% on boards. You can find the application form on the SIT Pune website. Application fees were for 1000rs only.
I chose this course because it's a trendy course and it's great to be in this field. The faculties are not that great but they help you when you are in need. Also, there is an online pm every semester where your mentor does have a conversation with your parents
I needed at least 70% in my 12th board and I got admitted through the site, it is an exam for sitting only. You can get here through jee and matchet but that is not what I recommend because then you will get addmission in between the first sem and will be new to the college.
Since I opted for Computer Science, I can't tell you about all the courses but yeah the faculty members of computer science are up to the mark. The term exams are a bit hard, it's easy to pass but to get good marks you need to be hard on yourself
The admission process is quite easy, just thing is that after admission we needed to submit n number of documents that were hard to get. You can find the application form on the official symbiosis website. There will be some reservation benifits for you if you come through matches
I chose computer science because it was easier for me, but the facilities are not up to the mark, Deepak sir who is one of the data structure sir is very good and is up to the mark. Exams are twice a year and the internal exams go on every month.
I got admission through mhtcet, otherwise, you could also get admission through the site (which is sit official entrance exam) and through jee mains. the application process is very easy and doesn't take much documentation and time.
I can't tell about the placements as I am not in my final year, but yeah what I do know is that you can find 6 out of 10 students going for higher studies once they complete their b-tech from symbiosis
I entered the college by giving SITEEE which is its own entrance exam, but there are several other ways to get into this, which are mhtcet or through jee mains. The admission process was very easy after clearing the entrance exam. The application form is on the site of the college and you can apply from there
