The process of admission is via KCET, lateral entry, Management, and COMEDK. Students from other than Karnataka can apply to this college by COMEDK. If you are from Karnataka it's easy and with less fee to study in this college.
The eligibility was through comedk and the cut-off was around 14000-15000. The course I chose is electronics and communication engineering. You can find the direct college application through the college website. The admission was smooth.
I applied for management and got a seat in electronics and communication. U can contact the college through their website nmit.ac.in If they had given a discount on fees it would be better. I am not aware of the reservation benefits.
No major improvement is needed but the seat registration fee can be reduced. The process can be a little easier and more organized and more smooth. Other than that no other changes are necessary. Renovation benefits are there for a certain amount of people.
Need to get a cut-off rank under the criteria based on your Rank and certain examination, you can find the form on the official website and as soon as you enter the website there'll be an automated counsellor option where they'll help people out with ease. Pretty good admission process I can say
We have to get good marks in intermediate and I wrote an exam called COMEDK which is a Karnataka state entrance exam and it's ok to pass. We can find the application form on Google and it's around 1000, mostly in July and August applications will open. I don't have any reservations. The only improvement I seek in the admission process is they should improve the counseling process.
IN ACADEMICS, the college has 8 branches, of which I chose ece. The eligibility criteria for joining the college are above 70% in pu and a comed-k rank of less than 6000 for ece, and Karnataka students can join through k-cet. I recommend this college to younger generation students, and the college has a nirf ranking of 100, so I recommend this college to new up-and-coming students.
The application fee is INR 750 for all the courses. It is non-refundable. Incomplete Applications will be rejected. Early Applications will get priority for admission (Under the management category) provided the student meets the eligibility criteria as mentioned on the website.
The government of Karnataka conducts the Common Entrance Test (CET) in which 45% seats of the total intake is filled. 30% of the seats of the total intake are to be filled through the COMED-K test, which is also conducted by Karnataka Govt. 25% of the seats of the total intake are to be filled through the management quota. AICTE has approved 15% extra seats for foreign nationals/PIO/NRI/students whose parents work in Gulf countries over and above the sanctioned intake
The admission process is simple. First, we have to apply for the college using their application form. Then if they approve it we have to mention our reservation details if any. Then we have to get the application form signed by the college administrator and finally by paying the amount we can join the college

I took the written COMEDK exam and got a 12,000 rank and the cutoff was around 16,000. The admission process was very good. If you are from other states of India except Karnataka then there is no quota for you and you have to travel to Bangluru for your admission process.
GSBy - Gayan SharmaI got NMIT by writing COMEDK exam which is the entrance test for students who are not from Karnataka, I got approx 15000 rank and by counseling and as per cutoff I got ECE in NMIT, at that time college ranking was 100 as per NIRF ranking but now I think cutoff got low pretty much and NIRF ranking is between 150-200
AkBy - Ashutosh kumarI took the admission by comedk the process of admission is easy but the accounting staff was a bit rude. We need to score a minimum of 60 percent in our 12 boards that's the eligibility we can the application form and details on the NMIT website.
