I choose this course because I am very interested in studying and knowing History, especially Indian History. While our college provides us with enough faculty and our classes are scheduled regularly. All our professors are very highly qualified and hold a doctorate or Ph.D. in their subject of specialization. Exams are conducted very timely according to the academic calendar of our University.
I got admission to the college by appearing in the C.U.E.T. exams after which I registered myself in the portal of Delhi University that CSAS which the university provided me the in Deshbandhu College according to their cutoff criteria of C.U.E.T. scores. I got 666 out of 800 in my C.U.E.T. exams. While the admission process was too long it took more than two months to be completed after the release of C.U.E.T. scores, which must have been shortened for the future student s
I choose my course mathematics because I am interested in mathematics initially Faculty members are good and qualified Qualification for teachers is phd and other criteria set up by delhi university for professor
The admission process is through cuet exam conducted by the national testing agency Application form information is available on the official website of delhi university or nta Reservation benefits are given to sc st
I like mathematics most and also I've aimed to teach mathematics so I choose mathematics. Here approx 130 students are divided into two sections. Most of the teachers are PhD holding and some are about to complete them. Term exams are conducted according to schedule and it's easy to pass if you study regularly. Dr Pramod Arora sir is the hod of our department. Usha ma'am was the favourite teacher of almost all the students, she got retired and still come to the college and teach in a profitless business. There are approx 20+ teachers in our department. A few of them are:- Dr Pramod Arora, Chirag sir, Rahul Shukla sir, Tanvi ma'am, Sunil sir, Sushil sir, Bhupendra sir, Shipra ma'am, Rohit goel sir, Mukesh sir, Naveen Chandra sir etc. We have our society named kshitij. Its student union is very good and friendly they work hard to take the department to the top. Many students from batch 2019-22 cleared the IIT jam entrance exam and got admission to their dream colleges.
Eligibility:- For pursuing B.sc( Hons) Mathematics. You must have PCM in class 12th or PCB and mathematics as an optional subject. Application:- Now you can apply for cuet for securing your admission here. Reservation:- there is a reservation for girls and category-wise for all the categories like SC st ews obc.
I opt for Maths Hons. As I am interested in maths and this will help me in my future studies. Faculty: student is like 1:40 and I am not so confirmed about that. The teaching method of almost all the teachers is appreciable and good.
The admission process is good as the administrative body of DU knows far better than me. The only thing they have to do is to make amendments to the normalization process of CUET results. And I am availing of any reservation benefits, so I do not know about that.
The Department of Zoology is very Frank and open to any type of input, innovative ideas, and many more things. If one is not understanding anything they will try their level best to solve it at an individual's level. So, faculty members are nice.
Have not given any entrance yet,l. This year my B.Sc is going to over then I will apply for M.Sc entrance in different exam formats for example- BHU, CUET, JNU, and many more. I will try my best to crack the exam and pursue my M.Sc with full dedication as I did my best in B.Sc. The time when I got admission it was easy and smooth in the college.
The course curriculum is great. All 6 semesters we have studied something new and innovative way. We had practicals and the college staff both our teachers and non-teaching staff are very supportive and kind towards us.
I got admitted through merit and the process was easy and the staff was helpful. I had taken the admission in botany hons but for general category, a lot of competition is there which needs to be reduced. And now I am happy with it. The Admission process is smooth.
I choose this course because I am interested in math I like to solve problems Faculty members are so good and cooperative Qualification of teachers are PhD or criterion of du professor set by Delhi University
The admission process is through cuet exam conducted by the national testing agency NTA Application form is found at the official website of Delhi University Reservations are for scheduled caste schedule tribes as well as OBC Also sports quota for students
The course curriculum is based on credit systems which can be clearly understood by seeing the syllables of a particular subject my course mathematics hons curriculum would cover a range of topics including calculus, linear algebra, probability theory, statistics, and differential equations. discrete mathematics, abstract algebra, and real analysis. On average, 25 teachers per department (for science courses) are present in this college all the teachers are well trained and good. My reason for choosing this course was that I was only interested in Maths at the beginning. The faculty at DU is highly educated and experienced. The majority of the faculty I have seen is those who have added Dr Title with their name, which is enough for knowing about their qualification.
When I took addmission to this college, the Admissions to the Under Graduate courses were merit-based. current addmission process is changed, to get addmission you have to give cucet exam. B.Sc. Math Honours is a 3-year graduate degree program, and the minimum eligibility is the 12th class from a recognized school board or its equivalent exam. Interested candidates can get admission in the course on the basis of candidate’s performance in a relevant entrance exam, and subsequent round of counselling as the addmission process first, you have to fill out the registration form then you have to wait for the cut off's of different colleges if you clear the cut off then you have to go to the college with a portal that you can get printed out then you have to visit the reception desk and the rest of they'll tell you. there is a reservation benefit in the admission process like in cutoff sc, st and obc cutoff are comparably low to the generals
Our college that is Deshbandhu College provides a variety of courses and faculty. My course which is history honours is quite good. we are provided with a number of professors who are highly skilled and good.
We got admission on the basis of 12 marks. We got admission under the DU admission procedure in which we fill out the form and our 12th mark sheet. after a few weeks Delhi university. Delhi University has outs around 4-5 rounds of cut for admission in different colleges
I want to be in the research field of mathematics. Faculty members are so helpful and friendly. They help a lot throughout the batch. Also, seniors are so helpful because they provide course-related materials. The teaching method is just 8 out of 10. There are 6 semesters. If U are even an average student but will be regular then passing is not a big issue for You.
In 2020, I was eligible for the Delhi university according to my 12th merit. But now admission is based on the CUET exam pattern. There will be cut-off marks based on reservation i.e. caste category ( if).

You need to appear in the CUET examination and cross the cutoff marks depending on the college you are opting for. You can find the application form on cuet.Samarth.ac.in, you will be asked to pay Rs 1500 or more depending on your stream and subjects and the dates are generally announced after the 12th Board Examinations There should be more transparency in the result-making.
AKBy - Aryan KumarThe admission process was quite simple, I only had to register on the DU portal and wait for the cut-off to be released, and apply to the college suitable for my marks obtained, the course requires Physics, Chemistry, and Math compulsory subjects in 12th.
RBy - RashikaIn my admission session, the entire admission process was online and it depended on 12th marks. Firstly we have to register on the Delhi University website and then have to wait for the cutoffs to be released. Once the cutoff is released we can take admission in college whichever cutoff we pass.
