BBA in Agricultural Business and Economics at the Auburn University is a 4 year, 120-credit program.

As a student in agricultural business and economics, students will fully tap into the diversity and complexity of today’s agriculture through extensive training in business, agricultural science and biology. Students will learn how each of these fields influences the college industry.
As a graduate of this program, students will be prepared for a variety of careers in agribusiness, the financial sector or other private or government organizations.
In your first two years, students will take business courses such as Microeconomics, Financial Accounting, Macroeconomics, Managerial Accounting and Statistics, as well as other core courses that will provide the knowledge base necessary for students advanced agricultural economics classes.
As students progress through their four years, students will take Agricultural Finance, Agribusiness Marketing, Agricultural Law, Resource Economics, Agricultural Business Management, Agricultural Policies and Trade, Farm Management and Agricultural Prices.
A number of professional and agricultural electives are available to help students tailor theie education in specific ways.
Some students choose emphases in management, marketing or finance. Others choose to train in management and decision-making at the farm level, along with the technical aspects of production agriculture.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students must graduate from a U.S. high school.
Students must have their foreign transcripts evaluated by an independent credentials evaluator.
.Students are required to maintain at least a 3.0 overall GPA.

Language Requirments:

Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.
Students are required to submit an SAT or ACT score to be considered for admission.

International students who currently or will hold a degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, do not need to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score report.

TOEFL, PTE, and IELTS scores are only considered official when they are sent to the Office of Admissions directly from the Educational Testing Service (ETS).

VISA & Work Study

VISA

International Student and Scholar Services will process an I-20 or DS-2019 (U.S. DHS Certificates of Eligibility) needed for visa applications after students have been formally admitted to Auburn.
For undergraduate students, ISSS normally receives and processes the admissions paperwork needed to create these documents approximately a week after students have received admission notification.
For graduate students, this occurs approximately two weeks after students have been fully accepted by the Graduate School.
