Overview:

Positives: They have good programs for machine learning and data science. There are a good amount of professors who work on various research. It's great to coordinate with them. Other than computer science, we can take courses in mathematics, statistics, or computer engineering. All are of great quality. Good funding options. They have a decent career fair option. Atlanta (a nearby city) has a lot of software companies. Auburn has a lot of computer science and AI clubs. This could help a student to improve his skills.

Scholarship:

No, I haven't received any scholarship. But, in my university, there are 2-3 possibilities for getting full-fee funding. 1. Getting a TA from the department. Should contact Dr. Xiao Qin (xqin@auburn.edu), Asst. Department chair. Also, before that, the student should get at least volunteer research work from any professor. Only MS thesis students will be awarded funding. 2. Getting an RA from professors. Could cover 2 years of funding. Not mandatory to choose the MS thesis option. 3. Contact the RFID lab (https://rfid.auburn.edu/) to get any job opportunities. The students will be funded (both academic fees and monthly salary)

Overview:

It was close to home. Also, their nursing program had great reviews and it was new. I wanted to be near home but far enough to enjoy the college experience. I'm able to visit my family every other weekend.
