Fitness and Health Promotion Courses

In order to provide a complete understanding of the health and fitness industry, courses typically fall into three categories:

• Theory. Courses in general nutrition, physiology, anatomy, flexibility, range of motion, and more will give students a solid understanding of the human body and what it takes to keep it healthy.
• Exercise and training. Students will learn to conduct fitness assessments, lead group fitness classes and provide personal training to prepare for a number of different positions in the health and fitness industry.
