Bachelor of Science [B.S] (Equine Veterinary Technology)

This program offers a career as a Registered Veterinary Technician with an emphasis on horses. This major is derived from an articulation agreement between Columbus State Community College?s Veterinary Technology Program, fully accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association, and Otterbein?s Department of Equine Science. Students pay tuition to Columbus State when taking courses there, and to Otterbein when courses are taken here. Ohio residency status will affect the Columbus State tuition.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts for four years of high school/secondary school
- Transcripts must be sealed and stamped by the school and test scores should be sent directly from high school/testing agency
- Official transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES accredited agency like WES, ECE, SpanTran
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
- Students can also submit three letters of recommendations which is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 79 in iBT; 550 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.5
- PTE: minimum 53
- Duolingo: minimum 105
