Otterbein University International Admissions

The admission requirements are pretty much basic for all applicants and mentioned below. 99% of Otterbein’s first year students receive some form of merit or need-based financial aid so foreign candidates can also apply for that. Transfer students do not have any additional requirements but must make note that only courses in which they have received a grade of “C- “or higher will be considered for transfer credits.

Admission Requirements for International Students

  • All the academic records/transcripts from previously attended institutions (grades 9-12 and further)

 If applicant sends transcripts through a post mail, then mail should be in a sealed packet, and stamped by the respective institutions. Also, test results must be sent by the testing agency.

  • Official bank statements & sponsor guarantee form.
  • Copy of the passport and visa (if required)
  • English Proficiency scores
  • GRE/GMAT/GPA scores as per program requirement

Otterbein University offers various major & minor undergraduate programs to all the applicants. The basic admission process for all the courses is the same. University offers major undergraduate courses like Computer Science, Economics, Engeering Physics, Finance, Marketing etc.

Otterbein University offers limited but supreme graduate programs. OU offers MBA, MAT, MSAH, nursing etc. Programs. While the specific requirements may vary for each program, the general admission requirements remain the same.

All Graduate programs requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher & application fee is 40$ standard for domestic and 50$ for International.

*For MAEM program, applicants must have an AYA licensure in Integrated Mathematics or be a math educator holding a bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a closely related area from a regionally accredited college or university

International applicants should try to apply early to receive the scholarship which waives non-resident tuition. Renewal of scholarships for the second year is not automatic. MBA applicants will be contacted to schedule an interview once all of their application materials have been processed. Students who have started the application process before early deadline are eligible to apply to a limited number of graduate assistantships (tuition waiver and work stipend).
