Ques. Did you extend the registration deposit deadline?

Ans. We have extended our deposit deadline to June 1 to allow more time for the final college exam of admitted students. To secure your place, visit your UofSC admission portal to pay your non-refundable $ 200 registration deposit.

Ques. Did you extend the home application deadline?

Ans. The home application deadline has been extended to June 10. There is a non-refundable $ 50 application fee and housing 100 housing deposit. Visit housing.sc.edu for more information on submitting your application.

Ques. How do I send my final copies if my school is closed?

Ans. Contact your high school counselor for ways to submit your transcript electronically through a secure site. We also accept mail transcripts, although they take longer to process. Mail transcripts can be sent to:

Ques. Will UofSC honor the AP Exam scores from the exams taken?

Ans. We will continue to accept AP scores from the College Board and follow their guidelines on testing. Students who score "3" or higher will receive college credit.

Ques. When should I send my official test scores?

Ans. Students must send official test scores by June 1 and will be notified by email that the official marks (s) are to be sent. If your top score includes sections of the SAT from two different dates, you must send the official scores from both dates. If your ACT composite score is used for admission, you only need to send the scores associated with the highest combination earned in a single session.

Ques. Do you still offer merit-based scholarships?

Ans. The Undergraduate Admissions Office has provided all of its public university scholarships for the coming year.

Ques. Will the ACT and SAT scores get a super score for the Summer / Autumn admission period?

Ans. The Undergraduate Admissions Office will score the ACT from the Summer / Autumn freshman class. This means that, regardless of the date, we will consider a composite score composed of your best individual section scores on all ACTs attempted. Similarly, we can overestimate SAD using the highest EBRW and math scores earned on one or more test dates to create a new total score. UofSC always uses your best ACT or SAT scores when considering them in our assessment process.
