- One of the few Business Analytics programs in the New York area offered to undergraduate students, the BBA in Business Analytics gives a solid, interdisciplinary grounding in data analysis, information technology, and quantitative modeling.
- The degree gives the technical edge for a satisfying analytical career in data analytics, financial engineering, risk management, market research, and management consulting.
- The Quantitative Business Analysis (QBA) major provides mathematically talented students with cutting-edge, hands-on training in analytical tools and business decision modeling that are in high demand by employers today.
- The interdisciplinary QBA major consists of courses in data analysis, information technology, quantitative modeling, and mathematics, providing a foundation for analytical careers such as financial engineering, risk management, actuarial science, market research, and management consulting.
- Students are required to take 8 credits in additional mathematics courses in calculus and statistics which increases the University Core requirement from 53 to 61 credits. An important part of the QBA major is the career concentration in a business functional area such as finance or marketing. This offers students sufficient flexibility to build a minor or a second major.
