The Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in English is designed to provide professional training to prepare students for careers in secondary education, professional writing, and editing. The knowledge and skills that students acquire in the M.A. program provide the requisite foundation to pursue doctoral work in English, with the ultimate goal of becoming a professional scholar and academic at a post-secondary institution.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must submit official, bachelor's degree transcripts from a regionally accredited institution and hold a GPA of at least 2.75.
- Students need proof of English Language Proficiency.
Indian Eligibility:
- Students must have a bachelor's degree from a properly-recognized institution.
- Students must have the minimum cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.
