    • professional-track M.A. (30 credits in multi-media communication and topic specialization)
    • thesis-track M.A. (30 credits in theory and methods plus thesis)
    • non-thesis M.A. (30 credits with a tight focus on journalism and mass communication concepts).
  • Graduate programs in journalism and mass communication are designed for advanced academic preparation in the various fields of mass communication and journalism, and for training in research and teaching.
  • It also provides an opportunity for graduate students to participate in research programs and to initiate and conduct their own thesis projects.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

  • Students must have an equivalent bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • GPA of 3.0/4.0 [B+ Grade] is required.

English Language proficiency:

  • Applicants from India, China, Vietnam, Philippines, and Pakistan should note that IELTS is the only proficiency score accepted by the Study Direct Stream (SDS) program.
  • Students must qualify IELTS or TOEFL test scores.

Submission of GRE scores is compulsory for this program, however, it is recommended to submit a minimum 292 score for a better chance of admission.
