MSc in Aerospace Systems Engineering is a 2-year program at the University of Alabama.
It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
The department offers two options leading to the Master of Science degree in Aerospace Systems Engineering (MSASE). These are designated:
- Plan I (Thesis)
- Plan II (Non-thesis).
The program is accredited by ABET.
The Plan I (Thesis) and Plan II (Non-thesis) MSASE options, contains a minimum of 24 semester hours of graduate-level course work.

Academic Requirements:

Applicants must have a bachelors degree from an accredited university

Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent
