The curriculum provides in-depth study of the wide range of SLP clinical practice in speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders across the lifespan. Our faculty integrates the best current evidence with client-centered care using innovative and practical approaches to teaching. Students have the opportunity to work closely with faculty, professional speech-language pathology clinical supervisors, and gain interdisciplinary experience working with allied health professionals in a variety of community-based settings throughout the graduate program. Our graduates will be prepared to work in a variety of clinical settings with clients across the lifespan, such as in early childhood programs, public and specialty schools, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, residential care facilities, and private clinical practices.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Requirements:

  • Applicant must have completed bachelors degree from an accredited university
  • Submit official transcripts of all previous education completed
  • Official transcripts must be evaluated by an accredition agency like WES, SpanTran or ECE
  • Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent on a scale of 4.0
  • Applicant must have completed following coursework: 3 credits of biological science, 3 credits of physics or chemistry, 3 credits of statistics and 3 credits of social and behavorial science
  • Applicant must have completed 25 hours of clinical observation with an ASHA certified SLP
  • Submit three academic or professional letters of recommendation 
  • Submit a personal statement
  • Submit your resume highlighting your professional experience, volunteering experience, research and other extra curricular activities
  • Submit English Language Proficiency test scores

English Language Requirements:

  • TOEFL: minimum score of 100 in iBT
  • IELTS: minimum score of 7.0
  • PTE: minimum score of 53
