This program is designed to expand the preparation and instructional practices of middle and secondary educators and education professionals. Fifteen graduate-level credits from the UAF secondary postbaccalaureate licensure program may be applied toward the M.Ed. in secondary education program. Courses are available through UAF by distance delivery and on the Fairbanks campus. Master?s degree requirements must be met within seven years of beginning the program.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicants must have a bachelors degree from an accredited institution with cumulative GPA of 3.0 in undergraduate and 3.0 in their majors
- Submit official transcripts of all previous education
- Submit three letters of recommendation
- Submit statement of goals
- Submit GRE or GMAT scores
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 79 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum score of 6.5
