Nutrition and fitness is also an excellent pre-professional program for students interested in pursuing graduate education in areas such as exercise physiology, nutrition, physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing, chiropractic or medicine. Students? career intentions will inform their decisions on elective coursework selection while completing the program of study. Although not required, completion of the Nutrition and Fitness major qualifies graduates to sit for certification examinations offered by professional organizations including the American College of Sports Medicine and the National Strength and Conditioning Association, among others.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Application Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of secondary school and all the previous education completed
- Official transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES accredited agency like WES
- All the transcripts must be translated into English if not in English
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 500 in PBT; 61 in IBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.0
- Duolingo: minimum 90
