- The program combines core mechanical engineering courses with technical electives that enable the student to increase his/her knowledge and competence in essential skills for Mechanical Engineering while affording sufficient freedom to provide in-depth study in both traditional and contemporary curriculum tracks and explore emerging interdisciplinary areas.
- The technical areas supported by the department include General Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Management, Mechanics and Materials, Thermal Fluid Systems and Sustainable Energy, Biomechanical Engineering, Mechatronics and Automation, and Sports and Aeronautical Engineering.
- The student is required to design an individualized program of study with the help and approval of his/her faculty advisor to meet his/her academic and career goals.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related STEM field from an accredited university or recognized international institution
- Students are recommended a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.90 or higher.
Indian Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Completed 4 years of a bachelor's degree in the first division in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.

Course Curriculum:
I was provided opportunity to participate in Paper Presentation where I met with various people (academics and industrial) from various fields. This provided me an exposure to interact will them and seek opportunities.
Among all other university applied, this university offered me scholarship and plus the course in this university had subjects that i was interested in (like satellite design).
