The university was convenient for me because of my major desired (sociology) and the location of the school as well as its reputation. I was happy with my decision to attend the university that I did.
Course Curriculum :
Based on my particular major (sociology) the classes mandatory are appropriate and were challenging enough to give me the college experience I needed to complete my university student career. And actually, I hope to return to the same university to complete my masters.
Placement :
I have not used the placement services. I know there is a career center with job posting but not sure of how well the placement opportunities are. But it is something that I may still be able to take advantage of as an alumnus.
Internship :
I believe the school does provide intern opportunities. I did not do an internship. But I did, however, know people that were set up with an internship opportunity in there desired field. As far as I can tell it was worth the effort.
Events :
As a student that has a variety of cultures, it definitely celebrated all major holidays as well as many different cultural holidays. Like Chinese New Year and Cinco de mayor and Martin Luther King day.
Fees :
The fees were based on the semester system. And given 3 payment options. As well as available financial aid.
Scholarship :
I was able to go to college because of financial aid. If financial aid was not an option I don't believe college would have been an option for me.
Examination Structure :
Every class was just a little different based on the professor. The exams varied and were appropriate based on the subject. And at times were offset but final papers submitted at the end of the course.
Faculty :
The faculty was very approachable and I felt very comfortable reaching out. And when I did my needs were met.
Hostel :
I was able to stay living at home since the campus was less than 30 minutes away. The campus, however, does have student housing available. It does seem to be a bit expensive for a student. They are different levels of housing.
