Vedanth Anil Review at Indiana University [IU], Bloomington | Collegedunia

I have had a great experience at IU!

VA
7.3 /10

The Kelley School of Business is a well-ranked business school in the US which is why I chose Indiana University and after speaking to current students and their positive reviews, I chose IU.

Course Curriculum :

The course is very relevant to current affairs and the faculty will go out of their way to make it relevant to the current situation. It is a fairly competitive business program with great placements. Getting a high GPA is not difficult and as of now I have not been given any research experience but I'm sure in the following years I will be.

Exams :

I applied through the common application which included a personal statement, a statement about the business program, statement for Indiana University, and predicted grades in the IB Program.

Placement :

The post-graduation prospect for most students from the business school is excellent. Many people I am familiar with getting jobs at companies such as PwC, Deloitte, KPMG, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and other big firms. My school does exceptionally well for students who want to get placed anywhere in the midwest and east coast areas.

Internship :

I have not

Events :

I am involved in Greek Life and I am part of numerous clubs at the school. I am currently applying for academic workshops at the business school. Indiana is a D1 school for most sports so sports facilities are great, I'm not sure about research facilities but the WiFi and libraries and other facilities are perfect.

Fees :

$52,000 USD

Scholarship :

I got the Global Engagement Scholarship and McCommon Match OEM Scholarship which adds up to around $6000 a year.

Faculty :

The Indiana University student to faculty ratio is 16:1 but I'm sure in the business school the number is significantly lower. The faculty and staff in the business school are extremely well versed and approachable and are happy to help always. Professor Winston teaches A100 and she was excellent.

Hostel :

I used to live on campus and the facilities are like the average dorm, nothing too special. I paid $8500 a year and although it may not have been worth the money, it was a decent place nevertheless.
