Review of my first semester at Indiana University

9.0 /10

I chose Indiana University because I loved the campus and the location of Bloomington. I also chose Indiana University because they're psychology program is well known and I knew I'd be able to succeed.

Course Curriculum :

The current course curriculum I am taking at Indiana University has been challenging, but overall pretty manageable. I like my classes and my professors are very helpful. The material gets hard but office hours are very helpful and so are the free tutors.

Exams :

I took the ACT and got a 29. I took the SAT and got a score of 1210. I did not take any other university-level exam like the ACT or SAT, but I have taken university-level exams at Indiana University. (Ex: calculus midterm/final)

Fees :

There are a bunch of different fees for living on campus freshman year but most were not that expensive. Instead of buying my textbooks from the bookstore on campus I rented them off of amazon for way cheaper.

Examination Structure :

Most tests are structured in multiple-choice form, which I think is easiest. Some of my exams have had true/false and short essay questions. In my biology 111 class, my teacher makes the majority of the questions are application based which gets very tricky when we have to choose the best answer in the multiple choice question.

Faculty :

I genuinely enjoy almost all of my professors and I look forward to going to class and learning. My professor's office hours are very helpful because of how open they are to meeting with students outside of class.
