Sunlight of knowledge as a sun devil.

AK
7.0 /10

It's providing nice depth in terms of specialized field of mechanical engineering. For instance, it has good curriculum for robotics and fluid dynamics classes in terms of mechanical engineering. There's nice curriculum for finite elements and HVAC as well!

Course Curriculum :

State of the art technology is being taught in classes with syllabus as update as recent industrial trends. Cutting edge technology and latest research is being taught in classes. Depth in coursework as well as great amount of options in terms of specialized field.

Exams :

TOEFL, GRE scores are required in-person (at test center). My GRE score was 319 & TOEFL score was 102.

Placement :

Median salary of approx 70-80k USD and placements are none, students need to apply on their own and get the employment. Additionally, research opportunities are there yet students need to have a little research experience.

Internship :

No, I am still looking for summer internship.

Fees :

Approx 6000000 INR.

Scholarship :

No. I didn't get any scholarship. There's no special application for the same. Most of the time students do not get any scholarship at ASU.

Faculty :

Dr. Jay Oswald, very nice background in mechanical engineering. Knows a lot about finite elements and statics and dynamics in mechanical engineering. Knowledgeable and experienced faculty with highly advanced conceptual knowledge.

Campus Life :

Great wifi all over campus, great research facilities. Awesome campus life with clubs and weekend parties. Safe and fun campus. Not so good food options for vegetarian students. Log of clubs and daily there are events where they serve pizza or food and stuffs. Nice venue to meet people and make friends!

Hostel :

Good facilities are provided by the university as well as off-campus accommodations are available. A lot of gated communities and on-campus dorm rooms for students. On campus accomodations are Expensive compared to off-campus accommodations.
