Meshwa Review at Temple University, Philadelphia | Collegedunia

Temple Experience

It had the major that i wanted to do and agreed to transfer in spring.

Course Curriculum :

Learning is not what you expect from colleges here. You get to work on projects and there is no one to spoon feed as they do in India.

Exams :

I took SAT but it wasn't required as I am not on student visa. I took english test to test the level of my vocab. Other than that it was pretty straightforward.

Placement :

Placement is good but efforts are to be made for an opportunity. Research opportunity is very good on the campus. I do recommend PhD here.

Internship :

I have no internship experience due to the pandemic.

Fees :

10500 USD for pennsylvania residents.

Scholarship :

I was told that my GPA was pretty impressive and that they would give me a scholarship of 1000 USD towards the first semester.

Faculty :

There are professors like David Dobor, Tamer Aldwairi who have left an impact on me. They are the ones who do care if thee student understands the concept or not. Self-study is more important here.

Campus Life :

Everything is pretty good. Due to the pandemic, I experienced the campus life a little less but philly being philly. Not safe to be out alone especially in night time.

Hostel :

I live off campus but have heard that the on campus residency is very good compared to other colleges.
