Pearce Review at Drexel University, Philadelphia | Collegedunia

Drexel - Good Experiences.

P
7.7 /10

The Drexel Co-op program gave internship experience prior to receiving my degree. At the time I went, not a lot of colleges offered this, so it was a great incentive. It was also located in a pretty major city that allowed for a metropolitan experience.

Course Curriculum :

Very focused - you got classes on your major in Year 1 so it was refreshing to know you weren't just going to regular classes all freshman year long. The courses get more focused and intensive as you progress.

Fees :

Previously they were an annual tuition institution but they now offer a quarterly billing structure. You are not billed during your co-op cycle.

Examination Structure :

Regular classes had standard exam structures but for exams related to my major, they took the form of projects, like completed short films or screenplays. We were often required to turn in production notebooks as well.

Faculty :

Very experienced and well versed and vetted in their craft. Most of our faculty were currently in or credited well for being in the business so it was good to see people in the know.
