Shannen Sutherland Review at Illinois State University, Normal | Collegedunia

ISU is pretty cool

SS
7.5 /10

This college has a well known and competitive psychology degree. I knew after coming here I would get a great education. I checked out the campus and loved it and the overall environment. Everyone was really friendly and also the vibe was really great!

Course Curriculum :

I really think it is well rounded and gives students a lot of transferable skills. I found that the courses were challenging but that the professors wanted students to succeed and helped as much as they could!

Exams :

ACT with a score of 26. I never took the other exams and I did not end up needing to take the GRE at all.

Internship :

Yes but I don't have one. Those are for graduate students only I think and so I am not sure since I am an undergraduate student. I know there is a tuition waiver but other than that I am unaware. I wish I knew.

Fees :

The fees are about 1000 a semester but vary depending on how many credits you are taking. Students get many random charges.

Examination Structure :

It depends on the class. Some are all multiple choice some have a short answer, some are take home and some are in class, some classes are 4 exams a semester and others are 2. It really just depends on the class.

Faculty :

The faculty here care about the students. Most of them are willing to spend time outside of class one on one with their students or else they will set you an appointment up with a GA.
