Whittier College International Admissions

Whittier accepts applications from all around the world. Students who hold a foreign passport are considered international students. Here are the common requirements for admission:

Visa Process for International Students -

Applicants are requested to bring their passport, I-94 card, and a dated I-20 to the International Student Advisor. In compliance with BCIS (Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services) regulations.

Aspirants can get their I-20 form from the university. Here are the documents that must be presented in order to get it:

  • Proof of financial support
  • Bank statement
  • Copy of passport

International students must be able to present these three documents at any time to the BCIS.

Here are some of the additional requirements:

  • Full-Time Status: Students must maintain their full-time student status until they are done with the degree.
  • DSO Certification: Students traveling abroad must get an endorsement from the school’s Designated School Official.
  • INS must be reported the change of address: International students must inform INS about the change of any address. They must pick the AR-11 form and report the change within 10 days of the movement.
