Manhattan College was established in 1853 in Riverdale, the neighborhood of the Bronx. It has a strategic location due to its proximity to Manhattan midtown and New York that offers a pool of opportunities to all students. The college is accredited by the Middle States Commission of Higher Education. It has been ranked in the top 1% private universities on the basis of return on investment made in education. Manhattan College Campus

The Manhattan College has its campus in Riverdale in the neighborhood of the Bronx.
The campus is spread across 23 acres just 10 miles from the Manhattan midtown.
The entire campus area is divided into 2 sections connected by a common building for students.
The college has 19 NCAA Teams of Division 1 athletics.
There are more than 100 clubs and organizations created and maintained by the students.

Manhattan College Residence

Approximately 75% of the first-time students choose to live on campus.
On campus housing options for students include traditional residence halls, suites and apartments.
Most of the first and second year students stay in residence halls. There are 2 residence halls namely Chrysostom and Jasper with accommodation capacity of 100 and 250 students respectively and all basic amenities included.
Two-buildings on campus have been designed in suite-style, namely the Horan and Lee Halls with 700 and 550 student capacities respectively.
Apartment style housing with 400 student capacity is available at Overlook Manor for junior, senior as well as graduate students. It is divided into 7 floors with bedrooms having 1 to 3 person sharing basis.

Manhattan College Programs

The college offers a choice of over 100 programs to its students through six distinct schools.
There are 240 full-time faculty members who conduct classes with an average size of 23 students in a student-faculty ratio of 12:1.
The six schools offering programs in various disciplines are business, continuing and professional studies, education and health, engineering, liberal arts and science.
The most popular majors programs are civil engineering, finance, communication, biology, and childhood education.
The college offers students a special range of programs that have 5 year duration. These programs are a combination of bachelor degree and master degree that prepares students to enter a specific profession. Such programs include B.S/ M.S. Ed. – Adolescent Education Mathematics, Students with Disabilities, Special Education, applied Mathematics - Data Analytics and Business/ Professional Accounting -B.S/ MBA.

Manhattan College Application Process

The application process for admission at Manhattan College is outlined below:

Application Deadline: No set deadline however students are expected to submit applications by March 1 for priority consideration.

- Standardized test scores of SAT/ ACT are required for the admission decision. Average SAT: 1100-1240; Average ACT: 22-26
- High school/ college GPA - UG: 3.2 to 3.8 i.e. equivalent to 87-93; PG: 3.0 on 4.0.
Supporting Documents to be submitted with the admission application for evaluation include:
- UG applicants - official transcripts from previously attended institutions translated in English, proof of English language proficiency through IELTS or TOEFL scores, copy of passport and bank statement and affidavit or financial guarantee.
- PG applicants – official transcripts, statement of interest describing goals and objectives of joining the college, letters of recommendation (2) one of which must be academically related to the applicant, copies of passport, financial statement. Students applying for an MBA program must submit GMAT scores. (Minimum GMAT requirement – 500)

Manhattan College Financial Aid for International Students
