COVID-19 (coronavirus) amission updates

The college is continually providing updates to domestic as well as international students regarding COVID-19. Currently, the college has planned a phased reopening of its campus in Brooklyn, wherein classes will run according to the previously decided fall semester calendar.

According to the calendar, the first day of the fall semester has been commenced from September 9th and the last day would be December 21. The college has modified its campus facilities and operations in accordance with local, state and federal public health requirements related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Students also had to fill and submit the health safety form before getting back to the campus.

Applicants who are not US citizens or U.S permanent residents can also apply to St. Francis college as an international applicant. SFC provides both undergraduates and graduate programs for international applicants. The university enrolled 97 international students.

  • After the completion of the 1-20 form, SFC will send the original, signed 1-20 form in the applicant's ISIS (International students information sheet).
  • Please note that if any applicant who had already enrolled as an F-1 student in that case applicant needs a 1-20 form from St. Francis College.

St. Francis College Undergraduate Admissions

  • The applicant needs to submit high school equivalent transcripts to the university, test scores of GED (general educational development) and a copy of the GED certificate.
  • The maximum GED score is 2250 and a minimum score must be 450.

St. Francis College Transfer Admissions

SFC is a transfer-friendly college, applicants who are not permanent residence of the USA can also apply in SFC.

  • The applicant can apply online through the university’s portal.
  • Transfer applicants must submit the transcript receipts from all previously attended institutions as well as final secondary official transcripts translated in English and should be sent by the official institution directly.
  • University considered a catalog from the official institution of the applicants. 
  • All the applicants must complete a minimum of 30 credits in residence before any undergraduate degree is conferred.
  • Applicants need 98 credits to claim a bachelor's degree and 32 for an associate’s degree. 
  • The university provides merit and need-based scholarships

Please note that all the documents should be submitted to the office of admissions.

An applicant will receive the letter of a decision within 30 days. SFC is mostly preferred for undergraduate courses. The university also provides study abroad to their applicants and provides scholarships to freshmen and transfer students. The university doesn’t consider GRE or GMAT in graduate courses.
