Fisher College Admission Deadline

The admissions at Fisher College are accepted twice a year, for the fall and spring semester. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis but the college has a priority deadline for international applicants. Following are the application deadlines for admission to the Fisher College:

  • Fall: July 1
  • Spring: December 1

Note: International students are required to submit completed applications before priority deadlines.

Fisher College International Student Admissions

Fisher College accepts international applicants, based on their completion of High School Education or equivalent(GED) with the college preparatory curriculum, fulfilled the minimum grade point equivalency, provided required official academic records, adhered to the appropriate deadlines, and verified financial support for the required academic year.

The admission process is similar for both domestic international applicants willing to study in the USA. However, international applicants need to meet some additional requirements.

Admission Requirements: International applicants must satisfy the following requirements to be eligible for Fisher College admissions:

  • A completed application form
  • Official high school transcripts in English
  • Official English proficiency test scores
  • A notarized, updated bank statement verifying financial support
  • Official college transcripts in case of graduate admission or transfer admission, along with the written course descriptions.
  • Transfer release form in case of transfer admission, with no judicial or criminal complaints against them.
  • Complete health and immunization records
  • Proof of health insurance.

English Proficiency Requirements

International applicants for Fisher College are required to present TOEFL/ IELTS scores to demonstrate English proficiency. Visa Process for International Students

Students need a visa to study in US to be eligible for admission to the college. The F-1 Student Visa is obtained when students are accepted by the college and issued a Fisher College Form I-20. They can apply for a student visa right after an application letter is issued. Students whose applications have been approved will be issued the I-20 Form. Aspirants will be required to submit the following documents while applying for a visa:

  • Valid passport
  • Proof of health insurance
  • Current United States address and phone number
  • Original I-20 Form
  • Receipt of 200 USD for I-901 fee payment

After the submission of the completed I-20 form and payment of the SEVIS fee, students can schedule an interview with the nearest US embassy.

Fisher College Graduate Admissions

The School of Graduate and Professional Studies at Fisher College offers students the option of completing their course through on-campus, part-time bachelor degree programs(weekend, and evening), and online classes.[xiii]

For Graduate Admissions the requirements to be fulfilled are

  • Program-specific requirements.
  • Unofficial transcripts demonstrating the completion of a bachelor's degree and official transcripts after acceptance.
  • Personal essay or SOP.
  • Two LOR.
  • Resume or CV.
  • Transfer Credits of up to nine graduate credits from another regionally accredited graduate program. A minimum grade of B- is required.
  • GRE/GMAT/MAT (if applicable).
