I chose this course because I have an interest in electronics and computer science. Faculties are quite good and some of them are just awesome. The student ratio here varies from class to class. In our class the ratio is 63:7. The faculty here are all PhD holder professors and the teaching is very good. To pass the exams it is the work of 1 night before. The exams are conducted once every month.
The course curriculum is very vast but if you study properly it's easy to score above 8.5 gpa. The student ratio is as usual., boys are more than girls but there is no partiality. The faculty is good.
The curriculum is good and teaching quality is also good. Faculty are highly qualified people but some are not good at teaching. The faculty-student ratio is like 50 on average. It depends on the course. Coming to exams there is CAT 1, 2 and FAT, mid-exams, and final exam. CAT 2 is an open-book exam where students can take books and copies to the exam. Even though it is an open book it is tough the questions are tricky. Students need to pass in FAT exam and their overall score which is the average of CAT 1,2, FAT, and assignments. It is easy to pass the exam but getting good grades is a little difficult. The grading system depends on the class average marks, There are both pros and cons because of this type of grading system. 75% attendance is mandatory and for those who will get above 9 cgpa, there is no minimum attendance. Classes are interactive. Overall my experience is good in physical classes but during COVID it is online so it's normally like every other college.
I am very interested in computer science and hence opted for this course. the faculty is not that great but the syllabus and curriculum are good. They can make it more practical rather than a full theory course. and the credit system could be a bit more flexible.
The course curriculum and all educative details will be provided in a student portal called "VTOP" you can login as admin, student, parent alumni, etc. There you will find the course list, during inaugration week they will provide you credentials and full course list, and after every semester they will revise courses that are available for that semester and provide it to students. The course selection process is unique in vit, we have to create our own timetable with the given teachers for the course-list they provide, in a way it is advantageous for day-scholars to choose and opt to head out earlier from college, and hostellers can adapt easily to whatever time they want. Faculties are full and full dependant on reviews in our college, we have lists of teachers as good/bad/average, we rank them on the basis of class average and teaching strictness and you can hear them from your peers and seniors, discuss and choose the faculty. The teaching quality wise it is decent.
I chose my course because I am passionate about computer science. The faculty-student ratio is about 1:70. Faculty are qualified. Teaching method varies from faculty to faculty. Term exams are held once per month and difficulty varies from course to course. But generally, they are moderately hard to pass.
The course I am doing is comparatively tough. we choose the faculties based on the slots provided to us. I chose this course as I was advised of its benefits and the value of studying electronics and communication. Faculties provided for each course depend on the level of credits the course carries. The term exam was relatively graded and lab exams were absolute grading
I chose this course because it had scope, the faculty-student ratio is 1:70, all faculties are phds and qualified but there are exceptions, the exams are as planned and passing is not a big deal unless you have come unprepared.
The course I have chosen is Electronics and Computer Engineering. This is a newly launched course and it is far better than Electronics and Communication Engineering because it covers both electronics and computers. And also Placement opportunities are also a bit high for ECM students. faculty and student ratio is quite high and for one subject we can find a minimum of 6 faculties and a maximum of 10 faculties. The qualification of the faculty is PHD level in IIT's and NIT's. The exams are not quite difficult and there will be a gap of 1 month for each midterm and final semester exam.
