Students applying for B.Tech., M.Tech. or Ph.D. programs offered by IIIT-V will have to fill an online application form for admissions. Following are the steps to apply:
- Visit the official website of the institute
- Navigate to the ‘Admission’ tab and click on the course of your choice
- Click on ‘online application form’
- Fill the form carefully and submit it
- Take a printout of the application form
- Send the form along with a DD of INR. 500/- in favor of “Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara”, payable at Gandhinagar to the following address:The Registrar,Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara (Gandhinagar Campus)Block No. 9, Government Engineering College,Sector 28, Gandhinagar-382028

You should go with IIITs in any case as they are the better choice. You will be studying with some of the top students in the country who have managed to secure a rank under 35000. You cannot get this sort of exposure in local private colleges (with some exceptions) where several students get admission through management quota. Most of them are also from rich and well-to-do families who are just looking to secure a degree. To be honest, you cannot compare an institute of national importance with a state-level private college. You should not underestimate the academics of colleges due to the absence of a permanent campus or infrastructure.
