Chettinad University or Chettinad Academy of Research & Education (CARE) was introduced by the Chettinad Group of institutions in 2005 Under SECTION 3 OF UGC ACT, 1956. Chettinad University can accommodate 350 students yearly. It is an integral part of the Chettinad Health City, a pioneering concept that strategically combines the best of Education, Research and Healthcare delivery to provide synergy across the entire healthcare spectrum. The University invites Applications for admission to the Bachelor of Science Programmes (B.Sc.) in various specializations, B.Sc. Allied Health Sciences Programme, B.Sc. Nursing Programme and Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Programme for the academic year 2021. The B.Sc. Programme is for a duration of three years, B.Sc. Allied Health Sciences and B.Sc. Nursing, both for three years plus one year internship in semester mode. There are 25 seats per course. The admission to the Programmes will be based on merit.

Eligibility Criteria:

For all courses:

You should have passed HSC/CBSE/ISC or equivalent examination with one of the following subject combinations:
i)  Physics, Chemistry, Biology 
ii) Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. 

Age (For all courses): You should have completed the age of 17 years on or before December 31st, 2019.

Admission Process

For all Programmes: You will be selected on the basis of merit.

For B.Sc. Nursing: You will be selected on the basis of merit. However, your selection will be subject to medical fitness.

Application Fee: You must pay the Application Fee of Rs. 100 through the following mode:
