Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur (JNTUA), initially known as College of Engineering, Anantapur was established in 1946 under Andhra Pradesh Government. Currently, there are 98 Engineering Colleges, 33 Pharmacy Colleges, and 29 stand-alone MBA/MCA colleges affiliated with JNTUA.

This University offers a 4-year B.Tech course with 12 specializations for students who have cleared 10+2 exams.

  • Students willing to apply for this course must apply and appear for the AP EAMCET entrance exam.

  • The students must have passed the intermediate examination of AP State Intermediate Board of Education (or 10+2 exams from a recognized board).
  • The students must have taken up Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
  •  Students must also hold a valid rank in the EAMCET exams.

Selection Criteria

Students can apply for this course only through EAMCET exams. Admission to the University is finally based on the State Level counselling process and availability of seats.

How to apply for AP EAMCET?

  • The students must visit the official website of EAMCET. 
  • Select 'Online Application'. 
  • An application fee of INR 500 must be paid via Online/ e-Seva / Mee-Seva Centers or Credit/Debit card in order to access the application form after filling in the required details.
  • The students can now go ahead with filling out the application form. Personal and educational details must be filled in.
  • The student's Photograph and signature must be uploaded.
  • The students can now take a print out of the completely filled form and preserve it for future reference.

  • Hall ticket number AP EAMCET
  • Hall ticket number of SSC or equivalent
  • Date of Birth Proof
  • Caste certificate, PH, NCC, Sports certificate (if available)
  • Income Certificate (Indicating up to One or Two Lakhs or More)
  • Proof of local status (last 12 years)

The selection will be based on the EAMCET rank and the according to The Convener, EAMCET as per the stipulated rules of A.P. State Government and APSCHE.
