the students were eligible for placements from the 7th sem and quite a large number of companies visit the colleges with an average package of around 4-5 LPA and their internship is provided which one can do from the 3rd year onwards and get admissions. Most of the companies are from the IT sector and around 80-85% of students are getting placed.
Internship companies were not much but one can easily get an internship off-campus using college assistance. There were few IT companies that provided internships and the average stipend was around 10-15k.
We had done two Internships during our course. One internship was completed in the third year and the other internship was offered at the end of the fourth year before the last semester exams. The third-year internship was offered by West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Corporation Limited and the subject of the Internship was familiarization with electric transmission systems and other equipment. We had to submit a detailed report at the end of our internship and we did not receive any stipend as the internship was unpaid. The final year internship was offered by West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited in the area of Power Generation. We had to visit Kolaghat Thermal Power Plant and learn about the entire power generation cycle from start to end. We also aided in the operation of various processes and learned about the modern electronic systems used in new-generation power plants. This was also an unpaid internship.

I took admission via jee mains score, you may take admission through WBJEE counselling. Though 90% seats of in West Bengal are filled with WBJEE. Moreover, you may take direct admission by providing donations to the college.
SDBy - Sagnik DharFirst of all, I did my HS examination then me and my father came to Siliguri Institute of Technology. Then we gather knowledge about many other courses, then I discous that I want to study BBA in Hospital Management. After that, I read the eligibility criteria for this course and I'm eligible for this course. Then I fill up the application form then my application process was done.
DPBy - Dik PaulTo become eligible for the course one needs to take the WBJEE exam and get a rank. After that through e-counselling or spot counselling, one can take admission. Reservation and TFW(tuition fee wavier) benefits are there as per the wb govt criteria. This year the cutoff for the general category went around 7000, generally, it goes up to 5000.
