- Library facilities are the best thing you can get here 24x7 library you can learn for any time you want
- Campus life is one of the best thing of iit roorkee
- The sports facilities is very good and you have well trained coaches for every sports you think of.
- Hostels are very good , they called hostel as bhawan instead of hostel
- Coding and tech culture is booming here and tech clubs are very good
- Also the bonding between the juniors and seniors is very good here.
- The faculty here are very good we always learn something from them
Dislike
- I am studying production and engineering here. The course curriculum is not properly designed; they repeatedly teach us old things which are not very valuable.
- The placement is completely bad (if we talk about the percentage, it is just below 20%), yet the scenario remains the same.
- No, I dont think colleges offer us such scholarship opportunities, but there is one thing: a student from a poor family can get their tuition fees back after providing documents to the college, demonstrating an annual family income of less than 500000 INR.
- The hostel facility is average, not so good and not so bad. However, the mess facility is terrible with the worst quality, leading to 150kg wastage per day.
- None that I know of is bad, but there should be a tandem in your life.

Placement Experience:
After completing the third year we will be eligible for the campus placement many companies visit the college average package is around 12 lakhs per annum many of the students get placement but they opt for higher studies
Remarks:
Eligibility is we have to get a seat in IIT and we have to get a good score we have to qualify for jee mains then we will get the eligibility to write the jee mains The reservation is there but I didn't avail the admission process is very good
Placement Experience:
From the 7th semester, we get eligible for placements. Tier 1 companies like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, DE Shaw, SAP labs, k12, Nvidia, axis bank, standard chartered, American Express, and many more good companies visit here. There are 980+ offers made by these companies. The highest package is in crores - 2 Cr Average package- 15 -17 lacs 90-95 percent of students get placed each year. My placement is done, so I have a software job in Bangalore after my degree.
Remarks:
The admission process was through JEE. The application needs to quality JEE Mains and then get a decent rank in JEE Advanced. Then he/she needs to sit for JOSSA counseling ( for iits and nits). Application forms and fees details can be found on the website of NTA(national testing agency) under the JEE section. The Obc category gets 17 percent of reservations. Improvement- There should be a sports quota.
Placement Experience:
Indian Institue of Technology are famous for there placements only. Almost 10 lakh students every year prepare for jee to get into iits and placement is one of the most important reason. As companies offer on campus placement with a very good average package of about 10 lakhs to almost 90% students.
Remarks:
the admission process was through jee examination which is conducted every year. only students appearing for 12th standards or who have appeared for 12th in the previous year are eligible for this course also you have to pass the 12th standard with more than 75%. The application form is released by NTA.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placements in the 7th semester. Some of the companies that came into IITR were, Jaguar Land Rover India, CISCO, Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, Google, Adobe, Sprinklr, Navi Technologies, Paytm, Deutsche Bank, NVIDIA, VISA, ExxonMobil, Bajaj, Oracle, and many more Thousands of offers were made with 2.15 crore international and 1.8 crore domestic packages in 2022. The average package is about 25LPA. About 100% of students get placed in IITR. After getting the degree, I would prefer to have a job.
Remarks:
Must be class 12th qualified with more than 75%. Must qualify for the jee mains and jee advanced exams and fall in the particular score range. JEE Mains is conducted by the National testing agency(NTA) every year., Students who qualify in JEE Main over a certain cutoff are eligible to sit for JEE Advanced exam. In the case of the OBC-NCL benefit availed by me, the cutoff for the jee mains fell lower for me, also at a lower score I was able to get a better branch at the college.
Placement Experience:
from starting of fourth-year students became eligible for campus placements. There are a lot of companies that visit every year and some new companies and start-ups also hire from here. Companies are Microsoft, Google, Goldman Sachs, sprinkler, Rubrik, jio, de shaw, jp morgan, American Express, jaguar, uber, ola, media.net, cisco, hul, nividia, adobe, nimble edge slice, zepto, bajaj, salesforce, Flipkart, Amazon, Disney, Razorpay, tata steel, Citibank, axis bank, Kotak bank, info edge. no of companies visited is 300+ and no of offers made are 900+. In 2022 no of international offers was 32. placements percentage is always higher than 90%. many students opt for placements for UPSC and other exam preparations. my plan is to get a software development job in MNC. average package is 18 LPA.
Remarks:
I admit to a 4th-year undergraduate degree for a b.tech in chemical engineering through JEE advance. the admission process is easy because it is conducted online due to covid. but some students faced problems with the fee payment portal. reservation are as follows GEN EWS 10%, OBC 27% , SC 15%, ST 7.5% and PWD 5%. JEE is a well-known exam in India there is no problem finding the application form and the registration fee for the exam is 2500/- for advance and 1000/-for JEE main at my time.
Placement Experience:
We have a placement and internship cell at IIT Roorkee which manages placement and internship here. Many big companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, sprinkler, graviton, American Express, ITC, etc. visit here. we have had 100% placement at IIT Roorkee for the past 3 years as well as the average package is around 1700000.
Remarks:
For admission to IIT Roorkee, you have to first clear JEE Main exam, and then only you have access to give JEE advanced paper. If perform well in JEE Advanced and your rank is above 6k you will surely get admission over here.

IIT Roorkee is known for excellent placement records. Not only the campus placements, but the pre-placement offers are also remarkable. The average package is around 20 lakhs per annum. More than 90% of students sitting for placements get placed.
Remarks:
You need to qualify JEE Advanced examination to get admission into IIT Roorkee. You will be eligible for this exam when you clear JEE Main. One can find the eligibility details for the exam on the website of JEE Advanced.

Placements are awesome particularly in upper branches like cs, it. dsai,ee The average package is about 20 lpa For lower branches, the avg. The package is about 12-13 lpa. The placement percentage is about 80-90
Remarks:
It takes admission through jee advanced exam. It is a 4-year course. The fee is 3 lpa. The admission process is through josaa and done through online counselling. We get admission letters from the college after completing counselling.
Placement Experience:
Talking in-campus placement starts before the final year of the degree completion and internships in the 2nd last year in which there are possibilities that you get PPO(Pre placement offer) based on your work, and off campus, you can apply just after 1 St year completion. Nearly all students get placed here but some students have an interest in further studies and research so they do not apply for placements.
Remarks:
The eligibility to get admission in the college is to clear JEE (MAINS +ADVANCED) and to get a good branch you need around 6-7k rank in the jee advanced entrance exam. I didn't belong to any reservation so I don't know much about that but yeah there is a certain reservation.

Remarks:
The eligibility is to clear JEE MAINS as well as JEE ADVANCED and to get a good branch you need around 6-7k rank in the JEE ADVANCED. I don't belong to any reservation and hence do not avail of the benefits.
